One to add to your list: Power to launch one ship = 1 milliHelen.

As a retired metrologist I liked them all.

Same here. I received an email from paypay.com that told me I had a $1099 charge from Apple for an iPhone 14 that would be taken from my checking account if not cancelled within 24 hours. I usually recognize these as spam, but everything in the header and links in the email seemed legitimate.

So, I closed the email and logged into my Paypal account with two factor identification. When I checked recent activity there was an entry identical to the email with the same comment about a 24-48 hour withdrawal from my checking account. iPhone was to be shipped to a person in California. I cancelled the transaction.
I have only used the account twice in the last year: once for an autorenewal on a subscription and once for a refund from a different company.

This was the only attack I needed to close my Paypal account. I don't want to have to be on constant alert to cancel transactions.

After a concert, my wife and I were in parking deck elevator with a group of people. In the front of the elevator a couple would press the next floor if the button was not already lit and when the door opened, they would step halfway out and press their car fob a few times. Hearing nothing they would step back in. Our car was on the top floor so we watched with amusement until they finally got a response on the next to last stop. They were lucky that their car was in range of the elevator door.
To their credit, they apologized as others got off and never began the "I thought you knew where we parked" discussion until they were off the elevator.
I sympathized because I know it is just a matter of time for me.

Just spent three and a half hours on line with two Adobe agents. The second agent controlled my PC for two hours before we stumbled onto an answer. I am just hoping to save someone else the pain.

I have a Win10 PC and a subscription with Adobe. Over the months Lightroom Classic has loaded more slowly until the last few weeks when it was taking 3 to 5 minutes to load, unless it failed to load at all. When the folders pane started to load, the application would freeze and become non-responsive. After 3 to 5 minutes LrC would suddenly finish loading. I finally got tired of playing solitaire until it finished and went to Adobe.

I have always used a Bluetooth Logitech keyboard and mouse in my setup. The program that came with them is called Logitech Options and allows setting the optional functions on the devices.

It seems that when Logitech Options installs, it also installs a plug-in in LrC. The solution to my problem was to disable the Logitech Options plug-in in plug-in management. Of course, that was after trying everything else the agent could think of including updating, uninstalling, reinstalling, clearing all preferences, etc. Luckily, he finally found a recent, single post in support describing the issue and cause.

I have no idea what the plug-in does and disabling it has had no effect on my usage.
Again, I just hope to save some pain.

For all Apple users, I know my problem is I have a PC and it would never happen on a Mac. Just sayin'

Back Bay Wildlife, Norfolk Botanical, and the Lesner Bridge are going on my list.
I will be there this weekend and appreciate the heads-up about the air show.
Thanks to everyone who responded.

Thanks for reminding me. The preservation construction was supposed to over last spring and appears that it is.

Heading to VA Beach for a week. I am looking for suggestions for wildlife, flora, or landscape photography. I have done the beach and surfers and will be doing them again, but looking for other "don't miss" opportunities within 20 miles or so.

I can't find a number for Sound/Vision. bob. Please share the number you found. Thanks!

I went back to what I thought was the same web site as yesterday and could not find the number.
Xfinity says that I called (800) 264-9872 at about the right time. Try that number.

Interesting that yours was changed to Sound & Vision when mine was transferred to Outdoor Photographer.

I was already an Outdoor Photographer subscriber. That could be why I received the Sound & Vision.
However, when I was on the web site I did not see Outdoor Photographer as a sister publication. Could have missed it.

I knew that "Shutterbug" was ending and was lazy about trying to get my money back for the balance of the subscription. Today I received "Sound & Vision" magazine. When I went to the web site I found it was a sister publication to "Shutterbug." I called the 800 number, was told my subscription was a "transfer" (from Shutterbug). This magazine and the other sister magazines are all about audio, so I finally cancelled. The customer service representative was very pleasant and accommodating.

Just a heads up. It is a shame the way print is dying; sign of the times.

#2, then #3. Great set.
Like others, the out of focus green in #1 puts it last for me. Too much of a distraction; my eye keeps jumping to it away from the wonderful flowers.
