Rose42, sorry, my friend, you are incorrect. I have quite a few scientist friends who are Christians and do believe in religion. One of them is a physician, a surgeon. They all agree, however, that science simply does not defend organized religion but they believe anyhow for reasons that, even they, can not explain. But, they believe anyhow and they tell me they have made peace with it. Stephen Hawking was an English brilliant theoretical physicist and cosmologist. When asked if he believed in God, he replied something like "no, science does not support religion". He was not angry, defensive, or combative, simply stating the facts as all scientists do.
It is OK to be religious and believe regardless of whether science supports it or not. Cool out and enjoy life and your religion and try not to fight facts. If you don't believe me (I wouldn't if I were you), just do your research. Also, and this is important, have fun with your photography.

Steven Hawking was smart but he was not wise. There is a difference.
Science will likely never explain Jesus Christ but then there are many things science can’t explain. That doesn’t mean Christians aren’t interested in science
I don’t fight facts but am stating them.
One can’t be forced to believe - its a choice. The scientists, doctors and engineers I know who are Christians can explain exactly why they believe and they can honestly say science has no idea how to explain the origins and complexities of life. That is the t***h and there are many who have trouble with that t***h.
Have yourself a Happy New Year.
