The instructions I read said to ship in a strong box, specifically not the original box. I believe they assume you are smart enough to put packing in the box to protect $4000 camera that you place in a plastic bag. By not using the UPS label provided by Nikon you are assuming shipping and insurance costs.

Thanks Mike. We were headed to Bear River but we were driving into the rain so I turned off at Farmington. It’s distill good for a quick stop but I do like the bigger ponds. Steve
Wonderful set, Steve. The downloads are beautiful. Loved seeing how your setup performed with the FTZ. I guess I can’t use the excuse of having to buy new lenses keeping me from switching to a Nikon mirrorless.
Thanks for your comments. I am happy I can get good shots with the F mount long telephoto lens. The new Z telephotos are a few dollars more than I want to spend now. Steve
