I have the Olympus OMD e-Mark 5 II that I adore and I’m a former Nikon user who made the switch. To save some cash, check out used or refurbished. This model is weather sealed and it pairs wonderfully with a 14-150 (28-300) weathersealed zoom. Stabilization is in the body which gives you much broader access to lenses. The touch screen takes some getting used to but not bad. The screen saves you from having to dig thru menus when you need to change a setting or access a special feature.
. The price on the Olympus E M-5 II has dropped through the floor with the schedules release of the Mark III

I made the switch to olympus E M-5 II from nikon 7200. Weight and size was the primary reason. I now find I like my pictures much better. Took awhile to u nderstand the differences in light I was seeing through the viewer.

so, legally you may be on solid ground for taking pictures of kids (any kids). BUT in this day in age, only a fool would take any picture of a kid they do not know. Why? When the authorities and social workers arrive at your house from the parents call, it will not be about shooting pictures in public. It will be about looking at every computer and computer file you have to determine if you are a pedophile. You will be guilty no matter what you say. If you don't get prison time, or forced counseling, you will be labeled a "sex offender". Try living with that one. I don't mean to be a pessimist but, this is a totally different time. Good luck trying to defend your picture taking as an "art". The rules are different these days, for better or for worse.

It is simple. Taking pictures at a someone wedding when it is requested no one take pictures is RUDE. It is self centered and RUDE. It is immature and RUDE. It is not your event. When someone pulls out a camera or phone it can be distracting and in this day and aged "viewed" by some as an intrusion of privacy. If they don't want pics taken, DONT TAKE PICTURES. Comparable to a jerk standing up in a movie and taking shots of the screen and people in the theater. Not an issue of photographic license. IT IS RUDE BEHAVIOR, Not innocent but RUDE. Yes, it was a case of self gratiification. You should be ashamed of yourself. Rude, Rude, Rude.

When I use a neck strap, I am in full control of the camera. I know exactly where it is at all times. I cannot move without seeing it. Other methods may leave you blind to where the camera is. Next thing you know, it hits something.

These are not white specs. These are "orbs". They are the spirits of "Photographers, Past". Usually quite harmless, these spirits tend to mind their own business. Unless. you photograph them. If any problems arise, 5 Our Fathers and 4 Hail Marys, should rectify the situation.

I have no experience trying to do an insurance collect from the USPS so I can't speak to that. I have had experience with UPS and Fedex. I have shipped lots and lots of expensive stereo equipment over the past 20 years. Trying to collect from UPS is just not going to happen unless, they have a crash and ruin your item. Fedex is almost as bad but not quite the same. So with both companies, you need to be 100% sure that receiver of the package (you or who you are sending to) is there and greets the driver face to face. If there is damage take pictures with the driver of the package in the picture w the damage. Try to get the driver in the picture acknowledging the damage. Get the drivers name, etc and tell them to file a report of damage. DO NOT accept the package. You will also need to file a claim. What happens is both companies have their inspectors look at the package. In most cases the inspectors will say that the package was not packaged correctly and will refuse to cover it. Believe me, I know. Fedex acts within about 2 - 3 weeks. UPS drags the process out. You will not be kept in the loop during the inspection and return of the package. It is almost always sent back to the shipper (who also has the payment for the item). The good news is reliable businesses usual pack exceptionally well and take ownership of the delivery. If a problem, they will make it right. Bad businesses do not. Some will ignore the whole thing and put the burden on you. Some will also say, we shipped it unbroken, you need to talk to the shipping company. BAD COMPANY. Usually there are no problems - reliable companies package correctly and cover the losses. Buying from individuals, like on ebay can really be a nightmare if there is damage. Someone ends up losing. My experience is that if you cannot 100% prove the shipping company damaged the package, someone ends up losing....not the shipping company. Curious if anyone has ever got the fedex or UPS to pay for damage

Good ol' North Jersey Shore. Spent quite some time there in the early 70s'. My parents lived in Breille and Bayhead. Brother Tim, was just there at Vic's last weekend. Claims it is the best pizza in the USA. He should know, USA and worldwide traveler. Tim's wife hails from Spring Lake Park. He and she attended HS in Belmar.

Hope your taking pictures at the game doesn't interfere with other paying attendees ability to watch and enjoy the game. I sat by a real creep who had what looked like a Nikon 200mm zoom taking pictures. It was all about him, no consideration to any one else. The person was standing, fidgeting with equipment, disrupting others ability to enjoy the game. At one point they unfolded a tripod - blocking others view to meet his selfish need. So if you take your camera, don't be a creep.....
