ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Congratulations on a stunning series! Like most of the pics here, intimidating to this rank beginner!

While I appreciate colour, B&W fits the mood of the photo, which to me was mildly depressing. I'm a rail fan, and seeing anything "railroad" left to deteriorate bugs me! Beautiful shot, well presented!
I responded to their ad because my wife is a barely-literate computer user, and these require no knowledge beyond where the USB port is on your computer. Have gotten several since, and use them daily because of their ease of use. Very good product. These single-idea items do have a place! It does ONE thing, and does it well!
That's beautiful! I used to have a 1/2 wolf, gone 30 years. Miss him!
Welcome to the forum. I'm a beginner, too, never have held a job concerning photography. Now retired, almost 70, and learning to use a new-to-me Pentax K10D, an entry-level DSLR, which replaces three K1000s, which are entry level film cameras. My reason for choosing to stay with Pentax is because of their factory claim that any lens from any vintage Pentax will fit any OTHER Pentax. The old lenses work just fine, manual of course, but I have several, including an inexpensive 1000mm which is really a Kalimar 500mm on a Vivitar 2X Tele Converter. Works fairly well, a good enough for this beginner! What I'm trying to say is, I deliberately chose an entry-level camera to keep the use of the equipment I already have. I'm also deliberately staying away from "keeping up with the Jonses", because I don't have either money or time for that sort of foolishness! Change for the sake of change, is NOT PROGRESS! I've got to learn the equipment I have before moving on! Good luck with your quest for a camera. Now you know my reasons for staying with the maker I have!
Thank you for your exceedingly kind words! I'm a rank amateur. The closest I ever got to a professional photog was a hi-school job back in the '60s carrying his equipment because he had emphyzima. Still have three Pentax K1000s from the 1980s, and got my first DSLR, a Pentax K10, but I haven't taken a photo since the '80s! Time to get my feet wet. AGAIN!
Beautiful composition! I'm so jealous! It rained all evening, but had the audacity to clear up when the last of the eclipse was a thin sliver of shadow! Probably won't be around for the next one!
Beautiful kitten! Be careful, taking in the Unfortunate! I took in a feral cat about 12 years ago, and now she thinks she lives here! She's even brought a friend!

All of my dogs are "rescues"! Rescued pets give back in love far more than they cost!
Illegal immigrants should only be eligible for extradition, or execution!
It depends upon the programs running. I'm a musician, running a "virtual organ", with WIN 7-64, and 32GB RAM. The organ will not even load with less than about 28 GB, so yes, size DOES matter! My processors are all i5. i7 allows more "threads" to be followed simultaneously. You'll have to research that one because I don't know how to explain it!
The expression looks like a petulant child! I'd entitle it, "NO! DON'T WANNA"!
I hope that belief is true, and I hope that I measure up!
I live in an agricultural area, close to a town. Animals are dumped in the orchards and vineyards of the road to my house. I watched someone stop in the orchard, push out two beautiful male chocolate Labrador pups, and quickly drive away! All done while I was watching! I did pick up the pups, but couldn't read the car's license number! Most of us love animals. Some of us are heartless beasts! Can't say any more! There is a County-run animal shelter, and also a no-kill shelter, locally! No need to just throw them away! I've got four dogs. ALL are rescues! Wonderful dogs, even the diabetic pit-bull!
