They keep calling me about my car warranty and I keep telling them I don’t own a car but they keep calling, now if it’s a number I don’t recognize I don’t answer the phone and when I take a nap I turn off my phone period.

Select the photo then right click on the photo and go to get info and when the info window open at the bottom you will see a lock with a check box remove the check mark and now it’s unlocked, you’ll have to do that with each photo no way to batch do it.

I do at lot of traveling especially overseas and I can pull out my iPhone 12 Pro Max (which takes better pictures then some DSLRs) and take pictures of anything anywhere anytime and no one (including Security) says a word, but let me pull out my Sony a7iii and everyone goes into panic mode as if I’m about to kill someone, I don’t get it, I can take the same picture with bout devices so what’s the problem what’s the difference stupid if you ask me.

TrishV. You are confusing the two programs.
Final Cut Pro is a video editing program and Photoshop is an image editing program totally different programs, you should go to YouTube and type in Final Cut Pro so you can see what it is use for? And then type in Photoshop and see what that program is used for cause it doesn’t sound like you know the difference.

Big Sur does not only run on Apple’s M1 chip it also runs on Intel as well, I have MacBook Pro 16” and I updated from Catalina to BigSur and I’m not having no issues, I have PhotoShop And Lightroom, ON1 Photo Raw 2021, Nike Effects, Portrait Pro 19, FXhome Greenscreen, Affinity, Wacom Tablet software, On 1 AI, Canon software, Data Color 5, Final Cut X, Luminar 4, Toast Pro, Google Chrome, and I have ran each one to check for issues and I have had no issues, so rather you choose to update are not is up to you I’m just telling you my experience, it does not only run on the M1 chip.

This topic has been here before regarding the same company drives (Western Digital) and I voiced my experience with WD then, I pray that some listened. As I said before I had the exact same thing happen to me, and I lost over 3,000.00 photos that I did not have a backup of, and after weeks of trying everything and even calling data recovery company only to be told that to recover what was on the drive would cost me thousands of dollars, I just faced the fact that I had lost those pictures, but what I did learn from that experience was even after you eject the disk make sure the light on the drive goes off indicating it has stop spinning before you unplug it, are to just shut down the computer before you unplug it and most importantly as far as I’m concerned, never buy are use WD drives, since my experience which was about 4 years ago I have never used WD external drives again, I now use LaCie and SanDisk SSD, all the problems I ever hear of drives failing has been with WD drives and in the last 4 years I have heard of a LOT, even friends of mine that owned them have had problems with them, you can try every data recovery software that’s out there but I doubt if any of them will work for your problem, so unless you’re willing to spend a lot of money to pay a data recovery company sorry to say you’re out of luck, my advice once you get over the hurt, never use WD drives again, I would not use a WD drive again even if someone gave it to me for free......Good Luck
