I tweaked the color version too. Tweaked it a little in ON! develop then applied HDR Sutble.

When I lived in San Diego I used to roller blade around Mission Bay every day for an hour and I did a pretty good pace. I used to visit Chicago every summer and I used to roller blade from Irving Park Rd to Navy Pier and back which took me about an hour and a half round trip. It was great except almost getting mugged around Ohio street.

I went there in August one year on my motorcycle. The thermometer in Baker said 122 degrees but I don't know how hot it was at the basin. Sometimes I do stupid things and that was one of them.

I've been there a few times. As I remember the loop was an 8 hour ride. Your photo says it's 24x72, is that the inch size printed?

Thanks for all the comments. I intend to do more panos in my area. I did a lot of night, long exposure landscapes in San Diego but haven't gotten out in the Phoenix area yet. The hard part is getting the right lighting and the right view. The photo I posted was 8 shots portrait inline. I was practicing doing layers, i.e., 9 shots, 3 horizontal rows to mimic medium format look. I was only able to get my living room for practice so far.

It's Superstition Mountain in Apache Junction just east of Phoenix. Affinity Photo is a 50 dollar photo editing program that is getting close to Lightroom in features and ability.

at desert panos of my "hood". This is an 8 pic pano done in Affinity Photo. I first tried to stitch it in ON1 but it didn't line up the photos properly. Affinity did.
