I’ll just say “emphatically, yes!” My wife and I use our iPhone cameras far more than our Olympus mirrorless cameras and get spectacular results. The latest iPhone cameras are extraordinary. You can check the features for yourself, but they do have all the adjustments you ask about.
Since TSA is a United States agency, does their standard apply internationally? Or, does each country have its own rules regarding what’s allowed on aircraft?
I might argue that it’s the other way around. The picture is the result of planning, etc. Therefore, I agree with others who suggested focusing on the other aspects of composition.
Consider Olympus M 5/3. Together, their cameras and lenses weigh far less than what you’re using.
OfficeMax printed mine with no questions
Consider Brookgreen Gardens, a very large and beautiful statuary garden south of Myrtle Beach.
Perhaps the camera and/or the lens need a software update. Download the Olympus app and update both.
Have you considered a binocular harness, designed to hold the binocular firmly and closely the chest, but allows the user to swing the binocs up to a viewing position?
Since this is the “general” section where all things about photography and all brands are discussed, I think it’s appropriate to include general questions about cell phone cameras here.
He asked questions because you didn’t provide enough info to give an informed answer. As others pointed out, RAW is an “unfinished” image that needs post processing to bring it to a “finished” image, while JPEG has been processed in your camera to a. “finished” level. As a beginner, perhaps you didn’t realize that, but on any case, few if any on this site would conclude that their RAW images would be satisfactory without post processing. Thus, because he was puzzled by your question, he needed more info from you. Perhaps you’re new to this site, but you’ll observe—if you stay—that many questioners are prompted to provide more info before their questions can be answered.
There are few places in the Western US as gorgeous as North Idaho, one reason why Coeur d’Alene is the hottest housing market in the US. Finding vantage points to photograph the magnificent landscapes is a challenge, however. A good resource is Linda Lantzy’s book “Discovering Idaho’s Scenic Drives and Backroad Treasures.”
I’m sure it must be “Zed seven aye-eye.” 😁
I have the same camera but do not have the problem, so I doubt it’s a firmware problem. What do you mean when you say you “open and close “ the LCD? Do you keep it reversed so the glass side of it is positioned into the camera body and can’t be seen until you swing it out and turn it over?
Check out Laura Shoe’s video Lightroom course. For about $40 You’ll learn step by step at your own pace how to use Lightroom.
I know you asked for book recommendations, but I suggest you consider Laura Shoe’s video tutorials. They are extraordinary.
