Chittenango Falls is beautiful even in winter. If you have time check out Letchworth State Park aka Grand Canyon of the East. Couple winters ago I got some amazing shots, and as a bonus, there was hardly anyone there. My son and his wife live in Willow Springs NC. Beautiful area, and not all this snow. Have a safe trip and Happy Holiday.

Nikon Starter Kit
My wife bought this kit about a month ago at best buy. They had it on sale for $499. Excellent camera, only complaint is telephoto lens. She shot a couple hundred pictures through it and was not impressed. Also, it's not VR. Bought her a Tamron 18-270 with VR. Better optics and way crisper pictures. Other than that, the body and prime lens is outstanding.
