I need to step up to a more advanced editing program. I think Adobe Photoshop Elements would do it ($100.00).....or is it necessary to get the actual Photoshop( $250)? I want to learn RAW, layering, HDR etc. I know that I will need to get some training programs to go with it. Any suggestions?

I'm a bit confused when you say you want to move on to better software and are currently using Adobe Premiere. Confused because Premiere is video software not stills software. Did you mean Photoshop Elements?

I actually have both and should have said Elements.

I am ready to progress to better PP, currently using Adobe Premiere. I need a program for processing RAW, layering, etc. Recommendations? And should I also purchase "How To" use the program. I have no personal help available. Would like to have a free grace period in case I am over my head.

I am learning to do photography for my realtor wife. I frequently encounter the problem of shooting against windows from inside a less than well-lit room. Particularly when doing a multi-frame panoramic. I am using a Canon Rebel T6i with 10-22mm wide angle lens. Help please.

At the zoo, trying to photograph a snow leopard I encountered an enclosure surrounded by heavy metal screen with square openings of approx 6 inches. I did not know how to avoid this short of Photoshop. I saw a man with lots of very expensive equip (later determined to be a professional instructor) taking pictures. I asked him how he was able to shoot through the screen. He told me how to proceed. I returned to him in less than five minutes with a great photo of the snow leopard's face. He enthusiastically complimented me as a quick learner. I then told him that I had merely gone to the other end of the enclosure and took a picture of the identifying sign. Fortunately, he had a good sense of humor. I was also able to photograph the cat using his tips.

I'm in trouble with the Missus again this year. But I'm beginning to see a little with one eye now. So maybe I'll go work on the tree.

They are in fact for right or left handed users. A left handed user with a right handed saw has to lean over the saw to see the line. It is awkward.

I grew up in Amish country and you are correct. It is because of the bible quotation about 'make no other images before me" That is why the well no fabric Amish dolls never have faces.

I seem to remember that the Amish do not want their pictures taken. Is my memory correct? If so, good thing the picture was taken from behind.

Note: I'm not posting this to generate a controversy, only a curiosity question.

He didn't buy Our Gang nor Amos and Andy. Amos and Andy may have been portrayed by white guys on the radio but they were black actors on TV Go to You tube and watch both shows.
