Thank you for your comments William. I didn't understand your question. Is that Horizon twisted?
I took this photo a couple of weeks ago while driving north east of Pendleton, Oregon. The contrasts of color caught my eye and I just had to get a shot of it. The fresh new green of the field. The white of the fresh snowfall on the foothills of the Blue Mountains. And the blue sky to set off the picture.
My first attempt to place the picture of the river in my post wasn't successful. That created a blank space which was the dark panel. My second attempt was successful as you see the picture.
That is the Main Street Bridge, First Christian Church in the background.
The Umatilla River running through Pendleton Oregon is running High fast and murky due to spring runoff from the Blue Mountains.
I took the attached picture on Thursday, January 12th 2017 at 9:54 a.m. The temperature was -1 degrees below zero. The morning sun was creating Shadows from the deck railing and the bushes in the common area behind my home. The sun was also Illuminating the icicles hanging from the roof of our home. This beautiful scene was further set off buy a clear blue sky!
I shot this photo at 4:11 p.m. on on December 10 2016. I was about five miles east of Pendleton Oregon looking to the Southwest. I was traveling on interstate highway I-84 and just had to pull over to take this shot.
I shot this photo on December 8th 2016 at 7:07 p.m. from our front steps. Looking across the snow and seeing our neighbors well decorated house reminded me of a winter wonderland.
Thank you very much! That makes me feel good since it's my first post. Larry
