Most of these 6 pages (so far), plus, biting the wax top off a tiny "Coke bottle" and drinking the little bit of sweet juice inside.

My D200 did that exact thing until I shut off the bracketing.

Most of my photos look just right when I shoot on jpeg "Standard", which is a little tweaked from jpeg "Neutral". I only shoot RAW when the situation looks like it might need more processing and possible marketing. Once I spent 1/2 hour processing a RAW image and it was saved as a jpeg that looked just like the SOOC jpeg. In-camera jpegs can save a lot of time.

Auto focus was probably left on, should have been moved to manual after "Infinity" was achieved. (Solar filter has to come off during totality.)

The 70-200 2.8 will work indoors for basketball, volleyball, etc. (without that TC of course). Best solution is still by CHG Canon. I would add that a 1.4 TC is also an option for outdoor. Our school's sports photog. used that option on his 70-200 2.8, but was using a 70D.

Western New York had beautiful clear skies April 6,7, and 9. April 8 was socked in from Buffalo to Rochester and beyond going east. So many had travelled here, and so many here had such high hopes for great eclipse photos. My son put out huge expense renting equipment and even an airplane so he could get great photos. All we got was dark clouds.

This was my consolation prize, 1/4 sec, f8, ISO 800 during totality. Truck heading for I-90 40 miles east of Buffalo, glow of the edge of the moon's shadow on the horizon.

Rochester to Buffalo, solid cloud cover during the whole eclipse. Saturday and Sunday, super clear all day. Monday after the eclipse, (6:30pm) skies cleared up, bright stars at night. Oh, well...

Her descendants may no be so "guarded". One day, it may be possible to have them agree to a historical "rebuild" of how the 1700's original version probably looked, with as much history as the family and historians can muster. That chimney alone deserves the respect. My sister-in-law is from the Tuscarora tribe that migrated north to join the Iroquois nation of western NY.
