Even though you have many of the same functions, the algorithms "under the hood" are not comparable in ACDSee as you have in Lightroom. If that is a compromise you are willing to make, the ACDSee Pro is an alternative.

But, GPS coordinates, if your camera supports it or you use a Bluetooth link like Nikon's Snapbridge, are in the Metadata when you take the image. Are you talking about using the Map module in ACD to distribute GPS to a group of selected images?

My camera is a Canon D6II which has built in gps. I would like to use the map module in ACD to view photos on Google Earth/map. It appears that ACDSee Ultimate and other versions lets you do that.

I know this is getting old as all get out, but is ACDSee a viable option. On their website, the videos don't work and my questions to support remain unanswered.

I really like geotagging my photos. Used to love this feature of LR. Not too intrigued by the rent software situation.

Does the gps work with ACDSee even if you don't have an annual program?

Thanks
