I was drafted into the army a year and a half after graduating from college. Because I had a biology degree and had worked for the US Public Health Service as an Epidemiologist in sexually transmitted disease control, they assigned me to Preventive Medicine. I chose not to attend OCS to become an officer because that meant four years versus two if I stayed as enlisted. I was stationed at Fort Gordon, GA, in 1968 and then in Vietnam in 1969. My exiting rank was Specialist E-5.

What a day that will be, when my Jesus I shall see. When I look upon His face, the one who saved me by His grace. And when He takes me by the hand and leads me through the promised land, what a day, glorious day, that will be.

Thank you! I use an AI image generator. You give written instructions as to what you want and AI comes up with some choices. I usually go one step farther and enhance the image with Photoshop.

What is the name of the AI image generator?

How did you get this picture? It is one of the best I have seen to depict the depth of the pain and suffering Jesus was experiencing while submitting to his Father's Will.

One of my camera clubs' themes for January is night photography, and this is one I am working on in black and white.

This is an exceptionally well done image!

Thank you all for your service. God bless you all. I hope all of you have a wonderful day today and wish all veterans could have a wonderful day, every day!

Thank you for recognizing the immeasurable value rendered by the willingness of individuals to step up to something bigger than themselves and speak for freedom for all.

(and who even cares), but for some reason unknown to me or anyone else, I feel like saying this.
It's sad!
I don't care how puffed up you are about your own excellence as a photographer, (pro or not), it can't be a good thing to downgrade someone else's work with snarky comments. You know who you are. You don't care that we know who you are.
Sometimes we admire a person simply because we admire their talent or skill as a great photographer, but when they make snarky remarks to someone who is just enjoying photos they made and so happy that they got them, they are stealing that person's joy.
This happens here too often and makes me wonder what kind of person feels good about doing a thing like that!
We may admire your work as a gifted photographer from now on but some of us will surely cease to admire you as the photographer you are, because of your pathetic attitude toward others.
That's all. I truly feel like I have not stepped on any toes that did not deserve it.
To the rest of you, I will keep looking at and enjoying your photos.
(and who even cares), but for some reason unknown ... (show quote)

You have stated the case well. People who do what you have described are so self-focused they cannot see any good in others. These are people we should remove from our lives as they are toxic.

Thank you for posting this! I love that song and the blending of the new and old versions was for me wonderful. I loved them both.

Thank you. I won’t attend indoor rodeo’s or pow wow’s. Crappy lighting, and worse, no mood, or natural ambiance.

Thank you

I know what you are talking about. I grew up on a cattle ranch in Northeastern Arizona and rodeoed until I got out of college, calf roping, team roping and barrel racing (now a woman's sport) and broke many horses for me, our family and others as well as trained horses for cattle work and roping. I miss all that so when an event shows up I go even though the surroundings are far from ideal.
I do think though that I have photographed my last indoor event.
