No issue with my MacBook Pro, R5 and Lightroom. Don’t use Photos.
Only format memory cards in the camera in which they will be used. NEVER in a computer!
Minor scratches on the front element of a lens may just focus out. Test it and let us know.
Upgraded from the 5D4 to the R5. Was quite happy with the 5D4, am very happy with the R5.
I used to use Lightroom 96% of the time.
Now I use it 99.9% of the time.
Close and restart the BandH app.
Restart your device.
Take it from there.
What editing software is being used?
With non-destructive editing, such as my beloved Lightroom, you are only “saving” the file when you export.
The terms opening, editing and saving do not apply.
Hence the answer is No.
Loved my 5D2, really loved my 5D4.
Am madly in love with my R5!
Only purchase Microsoft products from Microsoft. Or from the App Store if you’re an Apple person.
With my R5 I routinely get up to 2,000 exposures per shoot with the battery well over 50% charge remaining. Better performance than my 5D4.
I have no problem with my MacBook reading a CF Express card. Try a different card reader.
I’m NOT selling mt R5. It’s definitely a keeper.
I’ve used Watson batteries in my R5 and other Canon cameras with no problem.
