I've been contemplating trading up to an Epson ET-8550. All I read indicates it should be a much stronger photo printer. Does anyone have any experience to share?
Would hope to be able to get to a space where I don't feel like I am always fighting the printer.
Thx in advance.

I bought an ET-8550 to replace a worn-out P400. I hesitated at first, thinking the ET-8550, being an "all in one" printer, might compromise its color printing quality. No problem. The prints are as good or better than what I got from the P400. The printer's interaction with my MAC computer is excellent.

Most if not all the polio infections with the Salk Vaccine were caused by a manufacturing error in one batch and had nothing to do with the fact it was an enormously effective vaccine. And the most successful Covid vaccines were based on an mRNA injection, not a spike protein injection.

Won't the alchohol in the sink kill all the germs? If not add more. 🤔🤔
Alcohol concentration has to be at least about 70% (140 proof) to be effective. Them's potent drinks.
My wife passed away from a stroke a year ago. She had none of the usual A.S.T. signs and it took the ER docs two days to realize she had a stroke. The lesson is if someone shows any sudden, unusual signs and symptoms, such as blurred vision, headache or arm and leg tremor, which my wife showed, take them to the ER immediately and demand a CT scan.
Could be a deformed Citron.
When needing to scan something larger than the bed of my scanner, I scan parts of it and paste the parts together with Photoshop.

I have an M705 and love it. The thumb buttons on the side are terrific for browsing back and forth between websites. The only issue I have with it is even when it is free-wheeling (no clicks) it will go too far up or down on a page. I wish the increments on the wheel position were smaller.
Check your settings. On my MAC I can adjust the rate at which the mouse responds to the wheel. On PCs, too?
We were in the Falklands in 1999 and birding was limited due to signs all around "Danger-Keep Out-Unexploded Bombs" left over from the war with Argentina. That still the case?

Adding denatured alcohol (rubbing alcohol) to a non-winter formula can help lower the freezing point and increase cleaning ability of the windshield fluid.
Denatured alcohol is not rubbing alcohol. They are two different chemicals. Denatured alcohol is ethanol with a chemical added to make it undrinkable. Rubbing alcohol is isopropanol.
My father had a '41 Continental. The one thing I remember about it was the pushbutton door lock. Don't know why it never caught on.
Along the same lines, my wife passed away last year from a stroke. After suddenly showing some unusual symptoms, arm and leg tremors, altered vision, I took her to the ER, but because she didn't have the usual symptoms (headache, crooked smile, partial paralysis, etc) of a stroke they thought he was having an allergic reaction and sent her home with some antihistamine tablets. It was only two days later that an ER doc thought of giving her a CT scan and discovered the stroke. As it turned out, the site of the stroke was not treatable. The lesson is if a person is suddenly showing any unusual signs or symptoms, an immediate trip to the ER is a small price to pay for being careful.
I almost always give my local stores, even the big chains, a shot before I resort to online. But 8 times out of 10 stores don't have my size, the color I want, or the item I'm looking for. They offer to order it for you. It'l be ready a week from Tuesday. I turn to the alternative.
[quote=jerryc41]I don't want an answer, but I know some of you will post a number. I'm guessing that all of you have hundreds, if not thousands, of CDs/DVDs. If you buy a new car or a new computer, you will probably have no way to play those CDs. Sure, we can download what we want - if we can find it. Then, we have to organize it on the computer, keep it backed up, and decide what to transfer some of the songs to another device for playing in the house or car. In other words, it's a nuisance.
I still have Cd and DVD players, so I can take a disk off the shelf and play it. There are still lots of Cd players available on Amazon, but they're generally small, "Boombox" types. Amazon still has lots of DVD players available, too, and they're generally under $50. I wonder if I should buy one as insurance against future unavailability. You can also buy a VHS player, but they're close to $300. For almost $400, you can buy an 8mm projector that also records to digital. If I had a lot of undigitized 8mm film, I might be tempted.
Couldn't agree more. I have ~300 VHS tapes and ~100 DVDs of some of the greatest movies and TV shows. I'm free to choose any ones without having to check so and so's streaming catalog to see if it's available. And I have top-of-the-line players to show them.
Nice work, Jim. Good skin tones. My only quibble is the color of the water. Never saw water that color.
