Nice shots! Just the thought of Snowshoes makes my Glutes throb - and I did it in days when I was very fit. As to Wolves, a small pack of the imported Canadian Wolves can destroy a viable cattle ranch in these days.
Our state got to vote on reintroduction of the wolf. Of course all the libratards in the cities of Denver/Boulder/Ft. Collins wanted the wolves vs. the agriculture folk who are affected by their killing of livestock. This is such a crazy state run by the 3 cities, to heck with the rest of the state. If I were 20 years younger, I would move to WY where freedom from snowflakes is possible.
Take the nasty 4wd only road to James Peak, then follow the trail past two lakes to the pass which goes down to Winter Park. Also in the area is Rollins Pass, past Yankee Doodle Lake and Jenny Lake on the old RR bed. At Yankee Doodle Lake the road is blocked by snow until mid to late July. There you see many Subarus, like a mega sale event. Super photo ops. Thanks for taking me down memory lane.

I helped Henry Arms get sanctioned for Cowboy Action (SASS). For that effort Anthony Emperanto (President) sent me one of the first off the line .357 Golden Boys. Really heavy so it is used for long range stages. Very accurate too. Not quite the range of the 45/70 but I needed a rifle of the same caliber as my pistols. Yours is also nicer looking since I do not have any stock work. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

nice work. But they are not Antelope.
Really?? Then what are they? Seems I have been misinformed my whole life. They bed down in my back yard and the DoW calls them antelopes. We need to get the DoW informed that they are wrong.
You will always get the people who will tell you that Photoshop/Lightroom are the only real post processing softwares and a great deal (not, a forever cost per month). You have to muddle thru this mentality and experiment with the 30 day trials of some very capable software and at nothing close to the cost of PS. Affinity, Capture 1,On1, etc. Do a search on this site, tons of suggestions. Most people use 20% of the PS/LR apps capabilities (and it has many), so why pay for most of what you are not using. And it is not that easy to learn. Good luck. Now I will get a lot of hate messages but so many people are resistant to change.
I too am a native but I still live here, even after 73 yrs and some really quirky politics. Moved out three times, but the job opportunities were here. I have a cabin above FairPlay, go there as much as possible. Excellent areas for photos. You have the Zirkel Wilderness, lots of short hiking areas, Cameron Pass, etc. Get off the beaten paths. Don't be afraid to submit them here. Welcome!!
might try the free version of "PhotoPad".
I love the story this photo can tell. The rope really was that color. End of a long Wyoming morning of branding, vaccination and "fixing".
In my youth, I parked below the Chicago Lakes, which you show here, and hiked up to Summit Lake. I drove to Summit Lake this summer, looked over the canyon and wondered how I grew so old so fast that I couldn't even make the trip DOWN to Chicago Lakes. I also traveled numerous times down the east side to Bear Track Lakes from the road. The whole area is magical. Thanks for the memories and nice photo.
As always, EXCELLENT!! You do have an eye for the dim light and water.

Seals are combat troops, not Federal Agents. And they went to Glocks back in 2015.
https://nationalinterest.org/blog/buzz/why-navy-seals-loved-sig-sauer-p226-gun-65631I own one Glock, an early Glock 20. A friend in the business ordered them for a PD who wanted something that was as powerful as their old .357s. He ordered a few more than the PD wanted and sold them through his shop, I got one. Another guy I knew (all three of us belonged to the same Elks Lodge) owned a small ammo company. He did reloads for local ranges, special ammo, like testing rounds for one CA gun company (AMT) and he did custom loads for several police departments. I still have a few boxes of his 10 mm he loaded for a PD that wanted velocity - 130gr solid copper at +P velocity. I saw somewhere they were designed for .40 S&W but many like them in 10 mm for the lower recoil.

Right now, as we speak, the govt purchasing group and a few other lettered organizations are testing out other pistols, as they do on a perpetual basis. One in major contention is the FN 5.7mm. It has a muzzle velocity of 2,800 fps (which makes it very loud), extremely light, very low recoil, mag holds 20 rounds and one in the chamber. The grip is very checkered for good control while wet and rarely hydraulics. Very nasty round, a .223 short. FN needs to get the price down ($1K each) to stay in contention. The years ago FBI tried using a 10mm (40 cal on steroids) but the recoil was too much to allow practice, it just hurt too much. They were testing them at our shooting range, along with 40 cal, 45 cal, 9mm and a 357 sig round. We set them up with scenarios so they could try each under stress and irregular situations. The 40 cal seemed to win as the most desired which was being used by the DoW sporting the double action S&W (and they quit using the S&W many years ago and went with Glocks).

Very nice shots. Looks like a good portrait spot too.
Wow, what weird judgment. I shoot Glocks, 34/35/17, in competition and have never had a malfunction in thousands of rounds. When tests are done on pistols, they are subjected to variable temperatures, wet and dry conditions, lack of lube, and tortured while running 10,000 rounds. Glock, Springfield XD, S&W M&D, and many others were tested when new. Glock, Springfield, S&W all passed without any malfunctions. Where do you get your info? Wonder if Glock's reliability is why they are the most popular pistols in the US? CZ is most popular in Europe. Sigs are very good pistols, just way over-priced.
I also shoot SASS and it is very popular as a family sport with a lot of young people. My club, Colorado Cowboys, has had 6 world champions in their ranks, but we also shoot for pleasure.
