I know several people who have and use them, and speak highly of how well they function. (They are all luthiers.)

My surgeon used the same approach, and with only muscle separation to install the components, and no cutting, healing and related progress in recovery seems to be a lot quicker. I had very little pain, controllable with OTC medications, and was basically back to normal physical activities in about a month. I'm glad you are doing well.

I've had both hips replaced, ten years apart, by the same surgeon. He told me I wouldn't need PT, but to just get back to my normal activities as soon as I was comfortable getting around. I used a walker for about three days, and then switched to a cane for another week or so. I kept it handy for a few more days, just to be on the safe side. After the second replacement, I drove 300 miles home, solo, 10 days after the surgery with no issues, stopping twice and getting out and moving for a few minutes. I had spent 5 or 6 hours a week working out at a local YMCA for two months prior to the second replacement, with the goal of building up strength and losing 20 pounds, which i'm sure contributed to the speed and ease of recovery. I was in my mid-seventies when the second hip was replaced. I went with the best surgeon I could find, after speaking to a number of his patients, and every one said "this is the guy." (One hiked a 23-mile 7000 ft. elevation trail with a group of boy scouts six months after his replacement, and the only complaint he had was that he shouldn't have worn a new pair of hiking shoes.) Good luck, and you'll be back to normal before you know it.

I am hoping to get some contact information for a fellow from the Tri-Cities, Washington area who was taking photos of the Westward Ho Parade, which is part of the Pendleton Roundup festivities, on September 17, 2021. I would like to obtain some good quality photos of my four-horse hitch pulling an antique water wagon, and I noticed him as we passed by, and it appeared that had had photographed our rig. He appeared to be in his sixties, and had some very good equipment. I have two photos that were taken during the parade, but one is very low resolution, and the other was photobombed by a lady walking alongside the lead team, so neither would enlarge well. Any leads any of you Hedgehoggers might have would be greatly appreciated. I am including the low resolution photo for reference.

The artist obviously has never seen horse harnesses, nor how two horses would be hooked to a wagon, but neither have 99.99 % of those seeing the cartoon, so I guess it doesn't really matter.

The tool for quartering apples (or, more commonly, eighth-ing them) has "spokes" and a center tube that cuts out the core. The one pictured here is for chopping nuts and vegetables, and can be used on a flat surface or a bowl.

Check out Johnny Hiland on Youtube; there are quite a few videos available. One of my favorites is "Working Man Blues" with Brent Mason.

I deleted facebook completely

That's what everyone should do. The world would be a better place without all the vitriol that facebook generates.

Why bother. The way things are these days, if the child wants to change genders at age three or four, everyone is supposed to jump on board in support, and there are plenty of medical practitioners willing to provide the necessary services, and plenty of supporters of those kinds of choices in the public sector as well.

My experiences with Amazon were few, and only one was satisfactory. Never again.

Jerry, the only issues are that during the time frame when you would have had your professional quarterback career, the going rate for a superstar's contract was generally in the low six figures, and then you would have had to have been a great player on top of that. Since you have never discussed your playing days, we can't even begin to surmise about that part.

Windows 8 was a giant mistake; even those involved in its creation admit it. That's why Windows 10 was rolled out pretty quickly.

The third one is far too close to reality to be that funny, in numerous ways.
