It's interesting that you closed comment but the change is not necessarily a great idea. Imagine if newspapers (WSJ, NYT, etc.) published their on-line news, sports and opinion stories in random order. Perhaps the result your click analysis is simply a reflection of the interest level associated with much of what is published and not the organization. You basically publish everything submitted regardless of quality or potential interest level. If a viewer clicks on two or three weak images, how long can he be expected to keep clicking. I don't have an answer to the quality/interest question but I am quite sure "random" is not the answer.
Good luck!

I have sold multiple bodies and lenses through B&H including my D850. They will give you an estimate based on your evaluation of condition. They have always paid the estimated value. The basically give you 50% of what they will sell it for. No muss, no fuss.

I'm headed to my local camera store tomorrow afternoon to see what price I can get on my D850 with grip and D5 battery with about 3,000 clicks. Also my D3S with about 27,000 clicks. I called and they say they are in the market for DSLR camera gear because most people are not ready to go into mirrorless price range at this time. I will also see what trade-in I can get for about 10 lens. This may be easier than all the selling.

Try the used departments at B &H and Adorama, send them a list of equipment and they will give you a guote based on your evaluation of condition. They will pay for shipping. I have been working with B&H for years. Generally, they pay you about 50%of what they expect to sell it for. This is hassle free and takes about four days to get the check by FedEx.

I just sold my 850 after 5 years (Z7II). Your experience is unusual. Check that long exposure noise reduction is off and your card is functioning properly. I never had a buffer problem and always shot RAW (lossless compressed).

Check out the Nikon SU-800 wireless speed light controller. I use it on my D850 for SB 800/900. I think there is a sync cord attachment for other flashes.

Port Clyde, Rockland, Rockport & Camden area.

Port Clyde is home to Marshall Point Light and is a real working harbor. The Farnsworth museum in Rockland has the finest collection of three generations of Wyeth's. Rockport is one of the prettiest harbors in Maine and stop in at the Peter Ralston gallery. He is one of Maine's best known photographers (a Wyeth family friend since childhood) and a great story teller. Actually, skip Camden, it has become a tourist trap.

MY late 2021 MacBook Pro running Monterey doesn't send data for print job to Epson P800 although the computer recognizes the presence of the printer. My old computer works fine with the P800. I have been through the Epson trouble shooting process twice including deleting and reinstalling drivers and utilities. We tried shorter printer cables, I don't use wi-fi. Their final advice is to contact apple support. I spent some time with a B&H printer/computer expert and he couldn't think of anything.
Have any of you encountered similar issues?

Be sure to compare the terms of the evacuation portion of the policies. If you have a serious problem, you want to be transported to Europe or US.

A baby Oystercatcher died of starvation and concern has risen about the well-being of shorebirds there.

August 16, 2021 — For the good of the shorebirds feeding and resting now at Milford Point, Connecticut Audubon has decided to schedule no group walks to the point's sandbar for the rest of August.

We are also asking for your help in giving the shorebirds room to feed and rest when you visit on your own.

On a morning two weeks ago, four photographers carried their equipment out to the sandbar.

To make sure they were close enough to get the photos they wanted, they settled onto the sand within 50 feet of two American Oystercatchers and their baby.

The baby oystercatcher was too young to fly and the parents were too attached to leave it on its own. Connecticut Audubon’s coastal ranger asked the photographers to please move farther away.

But they stayed. The birds were on high alert and distracted from resting, feeding and keeping cool in the midday heat.

By 1:30, shortly after the photographers’ four-hour stakeout, the baby American Oystercatcher was dead.

A necropsy showed that it starved to death.

Oystercatchers at Milford Point attempted 20 nests during the 2021 season.

Only one baby has survived.

This was just the latest example this summer of seemingly well-meaning visitors ignoring the warning signs, string fencing, and requests of Connecticut Audubon staff to birds on the sandbar the room they need to survive.

Walking, birding, and taking photos on the sandbar can unnecessarily disturb the shorebirds there.

Just to let everybody who tried to be helpful, following are my conclusions:
1.Similar F-mount and Z lenses aren't materially different in weight
2. Nikon has yet to announce a release date 24-105 or 70-200 f 4 Z lens which would best fit my style
3. Switching to Canon which does have the lenses I would want would be expensive (over $1,000) due to all the accessories required like memory, batteries, flash gear etc.
4. Body weight savings from D 850 to Z is about 1/2 lb.
5.The real savings available is by moving from f 2.8 glass to f 4 glass

I am keeping my D 850 and sold my f 2.8 f 24-70 and 70 -200 and bought a 70=200 f4. My kit now includes 16-35 f 4, 24-120 f 4 and 70-200 f4. As a landscape / nature photographer 2.8 is seldom/never used other than for focusing in low light so I don't value it.
