I was pretty happy with these two, particularly the one with his own reflection.

It's apparent that none of you people know anything about how to handle a gun. She has the finger of her support hand on the trigger. You shoot with the forefinger of your BASE hand. That looks completely ridiculous. I'm surprised she didn't use her pinky. LOL

Is she left handed??? Just wondering.

Very nice images and loved the descriptions. Very informative. We flew in one in 1992 in Honduras from San Pedro Sula to La Ceiba.

The plastic lens implants allow more light at the blue (and UV) end of the spectrum to enter the eye than the natural lens did. Absorption of UV energy by the lens is one of the big contributing factors to the formation of cataracts. This is why the color shift is visible. It's also why it is important that we wear good sunglasses after the surgery to protect the interior of our eyes from the increased UV radiation allowed into them. I've found that it is mandatory for me...I really can't handle the increased brightness outside. It's like my eyes have at least one and maybe two stops of additional exposure sensitivity.

Ditto on that. Much more sensitive now. Can’t go without sunglasses. Also noticed the changed in color between eyes. Walls of doctors office were white not off white!!

Sorry meant to say "...On D850 File Size"
Hello,
I primarily use my D500 with Nikon 200-500 zoom for birds and other wildlife. I purchased a D850 as my first venture into FX. I have been rather amazed what a small bit of post processing in Lightroom and ON1 does to file size ... I was very quickly ending up with 250 MB files. Today I was trying some Scott Davenport Presets (in ON1) and was ending up with huge files. I started with a 55.2 MB DNG file (a couple of minor adjustments in LR) and added one of Scott's presets which included application of the following effects:

Vingette
Dynamic Contrast
Color Enhancer
Grunge
Tone Enhancer

and ended up with a 604 MB file!

Obviously the lesson should be try to minimize post processing. With the D500 I might be ending up with 50-75 MB files so this was a bit of a shock. Won't take long to fill a 2 TB drive at that rate!! :)

It's actually a 30mm canon "Gatling" gun in the nose. When you look at it straight on it is offset, I believe because of the torque it produces! Great aircraft!

Yes, provided you are writing to both bards at once. Such as jpegs to one and RAWs to the other. Not for overflow provided you are designating the faster XQD as the primary card.

Thanks. I keep at Lexar 2000x 300MB/s in both the 500 and 850 but only in case I fill the primary XQD card and forgot to bring extra XQDs.

6 XQD cards in 4 cameras, probably 200,000 shots, never the slightest hint of a failure. I do not use an SD card in my D500 or D850 for the same reason, they are slower than XQD, even the UHS II 1900X cards. XQD only for me for both dependability AND speed.

I know the SD cards are slower, but just wanted some clarification. Are you saying that if you have an SD card in the camera (just as backup for overflow) that it's presence slows the camera? Thanks,
Dale

I think you'll like it, very well made as are most Lowpro products.
