The extra $32 really is a good idea as the newer electric cars, by virtue of not using gas, avoid paying taxes for road maintenance. BTW, the gas taxes likely go to other Dept of Transportation projects besides road maintenance.

Then there should ba a fee on the electric cars.

Arizona is charging everyone an extra $32.00 fee for every car registered in the state. Supposed to be for road maintenance. We will see.

I heard a repeal of the $32 is in play. I thought gas taxes were for road maintenance.

Here are three images, taken with the same lens, Tamron 150-600mm at 600mm, at the same ISO (1600) but with different f-stops and shutter speeds. Each has its own value. I present them for your pleasure and comments.

Nice shots of the Super Snow Moon. I did the same thing this morning with the same lens at 600mm. I'm learning to really like this lens. It's sharp enough that I bought a tracking mount to get some deep sky objects.

They have this 4 day show here every year in February to display their latest work. Here are a few shots I took last night with my Canon 60D and a Canon EFS 15-85 IS USM lens. I'm pleased with this combo.

Since getting the Handbook on imaging processing by Richard Berry & James Burnnel my processing skills are improving instead of insanely doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result . I'm finding that each target has a slightly different workflow , some tools are better earlier and some later in the process. I'm getting a handle on it and not getting so frustrated. Time is all it takes. I test 1st then I collect all the data over several nights and love playing with my archived data to improve .

Thanks for the heads up, I'll try to find that book.

Very nice image , the detail and nebulosity are great. It takes time to process , I walk away several times through my processing. I'm hoping to get back out after all this rain and start collecting data on the Running man , HH and Flame nebulae . Weather has put the KABASH on any imaging for a lil' while .

Thank you. Post processing is my most challenging part of this hobby, which keeps me coming back for more.

Look at the third line down under the reply box.

I only have a send button under the reply box, nothing more, but I found a work around. Thanks for all the advise everyone.

We already saw the London Bridge, so here's the New London [Conn] Bridges.

The rail bridge has a lift section, prolly to let the submarines thru ;-)

Much better bridges than the old one, but we still get hundreds of cars daily. Nice shots.
