Apparently I am the only person who does enjoy moving. It's a chance to start over with almost all aspects of your life.
I suppose this is why I rented out my house, purchased a 5th wheel and travel full time now.

Anyway, good luck with your move and try to look at it as an adventure and not a chore.

I have a somewhat similar issue but with wildlife. Very near to where I live are a couple herds of Bighorn sheep, a pair of Great Horned owls and several families of river otter, all of whom I have taken several thousand photos of. (I don't even bother with the deer anymore)
Do I really need more shots of any of these guys? No!
But I'll probably keep taking them anyway. You never know what might be just a little different.

Lovely model of a lovely ship.

She's depicted on the Canadian dime.

Very nice. The framing sets it off from all the other shots I've seen of just a big hole.

I have no idea what laughter-silvered wings means. It's a poem, they don't have to make sense, I guess.

Thanks but considering the picture I think the text more appropriate for the picture. BTW what are laughter slivered wings?

The quote is actually: "and Danced the skies on laughter silvered wings."

It's from a poem by John Magee. A Canadian pilot in WW2

It is possible to take a photo that doesn't require any post manipulation, you know.

For someone who's almost 600 years old you look remarkably good.

Welcome to the forum.

Ravens have 17 primary wing feathers. These feathers are called Pinion feathers. A crow has only 16.

Therefore, the difference between a crow and a Raven is simply a matter of a pinion.
