That still doesn't keep me from being PO'd by Mazda trying to sell a 400.00 SD card!

How do you think car dealerships make their money/profits? I will give you a clue, it is NOT by selling cars!

$500 for a color on a Jeep? See this weeks Auotextremist.com about Jeep pricing. Seems they're following Porsche's marketing plan.

Try GMC, Chevrolet, Mercedes-Benz websites. They, like Jeep, Dodge and most other car manufacturers offer one or two no extra charge colours and any other colours are extra charge.

Looked at the GMC Canadian website this morning and a Yukon SUV listed black and white as "No extra Charge" colours while all the other colours were at least $495.00 extra! Took a look at Mercedes-Benz site listing a 2023 AMG EQE 4Matric+ Sedan listed ten available exterior colours, six were no charge extra, four of the colours were extra cost. Three cost an additional $2,275.00 and one cost an additional $4,225.00. Did not bother to check the USA websites for comparable pricing detail, but I can say with confidence most if not all auto manufactures have an upcharge for what they consider to be optional paint colours.

If you open or have an account at Treasurydirect.gov, you can buy short-term T-bills and notes that are yielding over 5%. Super easy to use the account once you get set up.

Is the account available to non-US citizens that are also non-residents of the USA?

Hi Jerry;
Apple's interest rate is 4.15%, according to the website, and the "card" is only available in the USA to US residents!

I do have a dumb phone but I found I miss the GPS feature of the smartphone.

Now you have piqued my curiosity. What is it about the GPS feature that you find attractive? At least with your "dumb" phone your movement in your daily life cannot be "easily" and "accurately" tracked. In this day and age where governments track or attempt to track our movement, I would think an American, like you, would want a degree of invisibility a "dumb" phone provides, No?

Yes I did narrow it down to two and not consider any other alternative.

Ok, as I suggested before, buy what makes you happy or at least the happiest.

What if the person evaluated everything and has narrowed it down to two?
Or is that not a possibility,
or the person suggesting "C" doesn't care for "A" or "B"...

Longshadow: the original poster had used iPhones in the past and from his original post, it seemed he did not currently have any phone, smart or otherwise. I should have addressed my comment directly to the original poster.

I moved off of an iPhone to a Galaxy S22 and couldn't be happier. Android is SO much easier to get along with!

Some people drive Chevy, some Ford and some Dodge. They all do the same job and each driver has his/her reasons for why their choice of brand is the best. The problem with the term "best" is that it means different things to each person and therein lies the reason why we have these chase-your-tail-type discussions about which camera, which phone, which this, or which that is "best". Conclusion: buy what makes you happy!

Funny how when the question asks "A" or "B",
someone always suggests "C"...........
ALWAYS.

If you are going to make a comparison, why limit yourself to only two. "Variety is the spice of life", so add some spice to your life.

I only use mine for a phone; grocery list; messenger; and a couple of other occasional things.

Longshadow you have probably described 80-90% of the population that has a cell phone, which "kinda" proves it really doesn't matter if it is Android, iOS or BlackBerry or whatever.

I have to consider that I don't use a Mac and with the way Apple is going for their new hardware I don't think I would ever use a Mac.

Returning to your original post about which is better an iPhone 14 or a Samsung Galaxy S23, suggest you go to dxomark.com/smartphones and review the latest listing of the best smartphones currently available. You may be surprised to find the Huawei P60 Pro tops the list as the best phone! Unfortunately, in less than three months' time, there will be a new crop of smartphones and the scramble for the "best" phone will begin again. What will you do then?

Not sure what your "integrate data" is referring to but I can move files and photos between my Windows 10 computer and my S20 in multiple ways, several of them wireless...

Let us see if I can explain: yes you can move files/photos between your two devices, but you have to physically make the "move"but, in the Apple world data or photos you have entered into your Apple computer move to your phone automatically without your involvement. Or, files or photos on your Apple phone appear on your Apple computer without your involvement, that is data integration, it is automatic. As a businessman, I am constantly updating and or importing information into my iPhone knowing that the same data is going to appear on my Mac computer and my Apple MacBook Pro laptop and my Apple iPad and my Apple watch.

Windows OS computers just do not talk to Android phones and Android phones do not talk to Windows OS computers hence for me they fail to get the job done efficiently and error-free.

My criteria isn't price as I have said my choices are the 2 basic phones the Apple Iphone 14 and the Samsung S23 both are base models and priced exactly the same.

Ok, so price is not the stumbling block, then there is only one way for you and ONLY you to settle your issue. Buy one of each and learn how to use each fully and completely. Then, once you have completed the learning curve for each phone you will have your answer and be able to chose the correct phone for YOU and get on with your life!

I love my S20, but then I've had Android Samsung phones since the S2.

I have had six Android phones, three of which were Samsung models, none of which would integrate my data with my Windows computer or my ChromeBook or my Windows Dell laptop. Once I found the Apple world, integration of data across all devices was available to me, a real game changer not to mention time saved.
