Early morning isn't a problem, but with the long days it might be hard to get both sunsets and sunrises without a nap! Thank you so much for all the information. May have found more reasonable lodging at Patricia Lake near Jasper.

Thanks so much. I was thinking of spending more time in the Jasper area in hopes of less crowds, but the VRBO in Harvie Heights is the most economical. Really hoping for a lot of wildlife, I'm guessing more in the Jasper area. Our hiking is limited to a mile or two because of bad knees and old age. Trying to get the best photos from shorter hikes. I really appreciate all the suggestions you've given me!

Thanks so much! Am thinking of skipping Lake Louise and Moraine Lake because of the crowds. I am from Michigan and my friend is from Missouri, so all the mountains will look big to us. Cannot find an economical place to stay in the center of the park, do you think having a place at Jasper part of the time and Harvey Heights the rest of the time will work? Any Jasper accommodations you can recommend?

I am looking for a photoshop action that makes torn edges on an image and a drop shadow. This photo is not mine so I have blacked out the subject and artist's name, but it is the perfect treatment I am looking for. He uses a phone app to achieve this look, there must be an action in photoshop. Any help pointing me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much Bobby, do you have some place in the middle to recommend? Right now the most economical places to stay are in Harvey Heights area. Haven't found anywhere north of that yet, any suggestions appreciated.
