Looks very tasty, will definitely give the recipe ago Quixdraw. Fine shot.

Thank you, Sylvia! This works quite well with chicken also. I can provide more detail off line if you like.

Great to see you in the kitchen and behind the camera. That looks wonderful!

Thank you kindly! Kitchen is awaiting the last touches to complete the new backsplash and under cabinet lighting, so still a bit disturbed in re: Mise en place!

Oh My!! I need to get away from the deck/porch project while waiting for my railing and get busy in the Kitchen with D.Lish stuff like this!!

A picture is worth a Thousand Words and will not describe the wonderful flavors in this dish! Nice setup and pic here, Quixdraw!!
Oh My!! I need to get away from the deck/porch pro... (show quote)

Well, this one is fast and easy. I've been living in puppy world, plus it has been pretty hot, courtesy of the solar cycles. The heat always cuts my appetite. I suspect if I lived in a really hot place I'd end up downright scrawny!

The garden is coming in and the first of the zucchini so I decided to make a batch of Caponata / Ratatouille, AKA Capo-Ratto. This is a mash up of the two recipes with all of the veg from both, Capers, Balsamic and a Dash or Crushed red pepper. The only omission is olives which my Wife doesn't particularly care for, and none on hand so it all worked out. Good hot or cold, and keeps well in the fridge. Bread Pan Lasagna as main dish.

There are motion activated water sprayers that work pretty well, as does one of my old pellet guns!

I wasn't sure if you had possum there or not.
Looking at the dark image, it looks like a long snout, with two dark eyes way back behind the pointy type snout.

I think it gets too cold here in the Winter. State info says introduced but not established.

Any idea what this is?

I think it is either a piece of the rock or possibly a burned bit of log from a long ago wildfire, here is a closer look. Unfortunately I was using the D3 so extreme enlargement breaks up a bit. For whatever reason, the system will not store original on the cropped copy. I haven't come across a Possum in 16 years living here.

As do I! Living here all these years, and the light was never just right for me to see it. Out early with Mr. Puppy and there it was! Petrified Mountain Lion, Not, but a fun attraction.
