I think Nikon just put the final naile in there coffin If I was to buy a new camera now after reading this I don't think it would be Nikon they need more places to bring your camera to.

For the indoor shots I would want to use it hand held, not on a tripod. Also I usually don't shoot Video.

How is the Canon 10-18 MM lens for indoors use? If it was only for landscapes I would get it. Does anyone use it indoors in low light? what makes it so hard is all these lenses seem to be great lenses.

Lynda, I have the 18-135 and use it as my walk around lens. I too love it but in a 12X12 room it is too big on a c-camera it is like a 28 mm lens
Thanks

I need help in deciding which wide angle lens to purchase. I have a Canon 60 D and a 7D mark II camera. I want the lends for landscapes and indoor family photos as birthday parities. I am looking at Canon EFS 10-22 mm F3.5-4.5, Canon EFS 10-18 MM 4.5-5.6, Tamron 10-24 MM F3.5-4.5 and the Sigma 10-20 MM F3.5 lenses. They are very close in price from $299 to $599. My problem is that these lenses have been around for a long time, except for the Canon 10-18 MM but I don’t know if it would be good for indoors photos without a flash.
Thanks for any Help

MT. Shooter my 7D markII arrived from B&H on June 26 and the firmware was 1.0.2. Was that a first version or a later version?

Jeep Daddy what version did you up date from and to what version did you up date to?

That is what I'll do, I will not update until I fully understand this Camera. Need to see if I have any problems.

I just received My Canon 7D Mark II and the Firmware is 1.0.2. At the Canon website they give the current Firmware as 1.0.4. I read that the new firmware causes other problems. Should I update to the new firmware or should I wait for the next version?
Thanks for any help

Thanks, but i still want to get it off my computer. I don't want to accidentally move photos from my external drive to my computer drive.

I don't see where there is any Metadata, I am very disappointed, I though it would be some-wares between I-photo and Aperture,
How do I take it off my computer?
Thanks
