I have a small generator bought locally. Its large enough to run the refrigerators, freezer and a few lights. I pay for the gas myself.

Fedex won't even ring my door bell. they set boxes by the door and leave. I did find out some Fedex trucks are now privately owned and they hire their own drivers.

I paid about half for my home, just the material. I built it myself including the plumbing and electrical.

When I get back to it, I'm going to see if a 120mm fan will fit in back. I'll wait till I get the Sata cable from B&H so I can put the side back on. With proper air flow, the temp will probably be different.

If it runs hot why not just leave the side panels off.

Will the 'beer belly' become a thing of the past?

A visible casualty of a relentless attack on the US society?

I listen to the oldies station, and occasionally I hear one of those old "composite songs." They were fairly popular in the 1950s. There would be a narrator talking about a news story, for example, and his story would consist of snippets of popular songs. I suppose the paranoia about copyrighted material these days has eliminated any chance of that happening again.

I found one of them - "The Flying Saucer Pt. 1," Buchanan and Goodman (1956)

Do any of you have the Pentax 110 SLR? Years ago, I became aware of these and accumulated quite a bit of gear from ebay. This was a tiny SLR body that accepted quite a few lenses and other accessories. I eventually sold most of what I had. Prices have come way down from what they were ten or more years ago.

I had one. I gave it to my son he collects old cameras.

I got the new sink in the counter, but the PEX water lines from the faucet are about two feet too long. If I shorten them, I'll have to use PEX, which means buying an expensive collection of tools for a one-time situation. I thought I could just make a big loop of the long tubing and run it to the copper supply lines. Sound good?

Wrap up the extra PEX around a hockey puck then you can jack up your car. Why do you drive so far when you can order things?
