I don't do digital post processing, just toying with learning the intricacies of Gimp. However I have had good success buying laptops through eBay. I've always received a clean machine that met the advertised specs. Of course, as with anything, YMMV.
Actually, they should start with American history and civics. Much more important in todays world.
Automatic rifles can not be used for hunting or self-defense by civilians. They have been illegal for civilian ownership for decades.
I got one several years ago. I've had no problems, but I don't buy much on Amazon, so I don't use it often.
Had one on my bike. Headlight had high and low switch. Much better than batteries.
First, let's try to define an assault weapon. Is it and AR 15 which only looks like a military weapon? What if I take a Ruger 10/22 and add a pistol grip and a carry handle to make it look similar to the M 16. Does that make it an assault weapon? The AR 15 is a powerful rifle, but not nearly as powerful as the average hunting rifle. People think it looks scary, therefore they are afraid of it.
How about we make all the millionaire congress members publish their tax returns? How does one become a multi-millionaire on a salary of 174k? Maybe it's time to eliminate political careers. Term limits anyone?

Dean, WW2 commenced in 1939, not 1941. Cheers.
But the U.S. wasn't in it until after Pearl Harbor was attacked Dec 7, 1941

Told many times all in the name of getting v**es for the DNC. Still a lie. Though the Left still praises Obamacare there were still millions of people who were not covered. I guess that is supposed to be kept secret.

When the ACA was enacted, my premiums doubled, co-pays increased, I had to change doctors. So much for being affordable

I find this post very disturbing and nothing to do with photography.
It's in ChitChat.
Guns exist and always will, best to teach them respect early. You teach safety with cars and electricity, why not guns?
I am 78, retired, but still do most of the things I used to do. It just takes a little longer because I have more time. The biggest problem I have is the loss of physical strength. 50lbs weighs more than it used to.
A friend recently sent me a video dvd. It contains .IFO files which Windows Media Player can not open. Apparently Microsoft no longer supports this format. Does anyone know of another video player which will run on Windows 10 professional that I could try? Thanks for any info.
At 77, I retired 20 yrs ago. We sold the house, bought a motorhome, invested the remaining house proceeds and hit the road. There are many opportunities to stay free by volunteering just a few hours a week, the rest of the time you are free to explore the area and check out photo opportunities. Your primary expense will be for fuel and maintenance of the motorhome. Insurance should be comparable to what you pay for the house, food costs about the same. We enjoyed the life until health forced us to settle down. There are many great photo opportunities to be had in the U.S. and Canada, as well as any other place you travel to or visit. Enjoy life before age and health force you to slow down.
