Have you had cataract surgery in one eye but not the other. That is my situation. I see images with my left eye entirely differently from my right eye.

You see images differently because the eye that had cataract surgery has a new, clear lens while the other eye has the lens you were born with which has become cloudy and yellowish. I recently had cataract surgery in both eyes (one at a time) and it was very apparent that viewing images with just the surgical eye was sharp and no yellow cast, while the other eye was not, but when I had the cataract surgery on the other eye, everthing was much sharper, colors were true and brighter and no yellow cast.

A kind of slow but the absolute cheapest way is after you select the slides you want to digitize use a slide copier attachment that you attach to a 50 or 55mm lens and "shoot" the image one slide at a time. That's what I did with a lot of my Kodachromes from the 1960's originally taken on my Asahi Pentax Spotmatic 35mm film camera. To digitize the slides I used my Pentax K10D and an old Pentax slide copier attachment mounted on the front of a 50mm lens (the slide copier will attach to any make of lens and work on any camera). I then did some correcting of the image in my photo editing program (ACDSee Pro) and have 16x20 prints and 24x36 canvases made from the final digitized slide and they are great -- very sharp, good accurate colors, etc., and look as good as original images shot with my DSLR.

To get some pricing ideas you should probably list the lenses and # of clicks on the camera if possible.

Ditto, especially because it's hard to tell what some of the items in your photo are. You also might want to consider selling the items separately or in groups since potential buyers may not want everything.

I forgot to add, a "photograph" is always a "picture" but a "picture" is not necessarily a "photograph."

I think you are confusing them with your definitions. A picture can be a photograph, a drawing, a painting, a lithograph, etc. A photograph is just one type of picture.

Exactly! That is, the word "picture" is both a generic term and a conceptual term relating to the visualization of an object (or even an idea, etc.), whereas by definition, the word "photograph" refers to a physical, definitive type of picture. Compare the terms "picture" vs. photograph with the terms "home" vs. "house." "Home" is a generic term and can include a house, a condominium, an apartment, a trailer (aka mobile home), even a tent or the street if that is where one considers their home. A "house," however, is but one physical type of home.

Many canvas print providers offer multi-frame canvases and they do the splitting rather than your submitting separate photos -- I have done a couple that way and the results are great. Check out what the canvas printers provide that you are considering/

I suggest you also look at Zenfolio, which I have used for several years after switching from smugmug -- at the time I just thought Zenfolio had a nicer look but I haven't checked out smugmug in quite awhile.

Casa Grande is a hell of a lot closer than stupid Sedona.
But again I gave it weeks worth of right in Phoenix metro things to do.
The Phoenix zoo is far better than the ones you mentioned.
Again you are clueless about 90% of the in Phoenix things I noted and could name 2 dozen more things in the immediate area.
Why are you so pissy?
Go be a jerk elsewhere.
Let the OP decide.
Perhaps they would enjoy the 1/2 dozen or so things near Phoenix in one day.
Oh well.
I gave a dozen things in town. br Casa Grande is ... (show quote)

Your remarks in reverse order:
1. Have you been to "the 1/2 dozen or so things near Phoenix" you listed in one day? They're all good, but have you been to all of them in one day especially at this time of year with less than 10 hours of daylight and heavy holiday traffic?
2. Sorry you misconstrued my suggestions as being "a jerk" or "so pissy." The OP asked for recommendations and that's exactly what my listings and descriptions were -- nothing more, nothing less. Of course, the OP will make the decision of where to go and visit. Your type of commentary is precisely why UH took down the General Discussion category a few years ago.
3. I have lived in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area since 1979, so your accusation that I am "clueless" about the things you recommended is ridiculous -- I have been to most of them. How long have you lived here?
4. Have you been to any of the other zoos in the country that I listed? I have been to all, including the Phx Zoo and, again, I was expressing my opinion, and I'm not the only one who thinks that. Don't get me wrong, the Phx Zoo is great, but it's just not one of the things I would recommend a 2-day visitor going to. Actually, the Wildlife World Zoo in Litchfield Park is more enjoyable, especially if you have kids and like acquariums.
5. Yes, Casa Grande is "a hell of a lot closer than Sedona," but depending on where in Phx you are driving from, it's still an hour or so away (besides, what's "stupid" about Sedona?). Sedona is great and very enjoyable for a full-day or overnight trip, especially Oak Creek Canyon, the Red Rocks and the Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village in Sedona.

That will be some stuff away from the usual tourist traps like Sedona that there are millions of me too photos everywhere.

Way too much for 2 days especially the out-of-town spots, like Case Grande, Montezuma's Castle, Clarkdale, Jerome, Prescott, Wickenburg, San Xavier Mission. If you have only 2 days, stick to the sites in metro Phoenix like PBG, Old Town Scottsdale, AZ88 and Heard Museum. And, as far as the Phoenix Zoo (which is adjacent to the PBG), it's really spread out, hilly and involves a lot of walking (aka hiking) -- skip it, too. It's a nice zoo but there are a lot better ones (like San Diego, Denver, Chicago, San Francisco, New York). To get the best flavor for the Phoenix SW desert areas, the PBG, Main St., Old Town Scottsdale (western art galleries and AZ88), and Heard Museum would be my top choices, especially for such a short visit.

Old Town Scottsdale has much to shoot - just walk around. For something different, try AZ88 for lunch - it’s also photogenic. Wright’s Taliasin West is worth a visit. Others have mentioned the Botanical Gardens. If you drive to Sedona, or worse, the GC you’ll spend half+ of your visit on the road. Ditto with Tucson and I don’t know where San Antonio came from.

Ditto on PBG (Phoenix Botanical Gardens -- it's always the 1st place I recommend for visitors and you can spend anywhere from a couple of hours to all day there). Also ditto on Old Town Scottsdale, including Main Street art galleries and 5th Ave. shops (again you can spend all day exploring and shopping there, including AZ88 for either lunch or early dinner alfresco on the patio -- it's our favorite place to eat and they have absolutely the best martinis in town (all kinds, of course, we prefer the Bombay Sapphire martinis -- they're doubles and filled to the brim and all of their bartenders know how to make martinis). Next, if you have any time left, the Heard Museum on Central Ave. in midtown Phoenix -- a great display and history of Arizona's Native American culture, artifacts and history. Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West is also a good place to visit along with nearby Carefree, although I would put that last on my list.

I have used Zenfolio for several years and I have been satisfied with then site. I am an amateur and just want a place for friends and family to see what I do. I should go into the site and do some cleanup work but never get around to it. One thing I like is the ability to post a "private" gallery just for a family member. They can use a password to open their own photos, without the whole world seeing them. Zenfolio is simple to use and gives be a platform for others to view. I am: kenvanhook.zenfolio.com.

Same for me -- have used Zenfolio for several years and just renewed my subscription but I haven't done any cleanup, editing or adding new photos for quite awhile -- it's on my to-do list.

Be sure to check out ACDSee -- they have several levels of stand alone (non-online, non-subscription) programs depending on how many features you want. I have been using it ever since switching from film SLRs to DSLRs many years ago.
