I often wondered why some people who say they don't believe in a God the Creator feel so threaten by something they don't believe exists. If I stated I believed in a stone carving as a god, most would just laugh or feel sorry for me, but they wouldn't feel threaten by my beliefs.

When I see a post about something I either don't believe in or have no interest in, I just skip it. I have a delete key on the keyboard.

But those who die in the lord will live; their bodies will rise again! Those who sleep in the earth will rise up and sing for joy! For your life-giving light will fall like dew on your people in the place of the dead! Isaiah 26:19

Most airlines will tell you that you do not have the overhead bin space above your seat as guaranteed space for you. All you have that is guaranteed is the space under the seat in front of you. If you are last to board, the overhead bins can be full!

On some airplanes there is very little room under the seats, the space is filled with electronic gear for the rear seat TV's or other things. A friend of mine found this out when switching flights.

Our church gives out military challenge coins to every military person we happen to see in public. We never ask if they are atheists, we assume they could decline receiving a coin.

Maybe we should start a rumor with AARP that someone is going to sue a business for giving out senior discounts. After all, that is age discrimination, and I take that discount every chance I can.

You can also install a larger & faster internal hard drive. You can get them from many sources. In my Asus notebook I changed it from a 500 gig to 950 gig, plus two 1 TB USB drives for backup. I do a monthly complete C drive backup on one usb drive, and weekly data backups on the other usb drive.

Another thing to ponder. It is reported that the officer might not have known at the time that Brown was the person who just committed the strong arm robbery of the store. But Brown would not know that the officer might not be aware of his involvement in the crime. It would seem logical that Brown would have thought the Officer stopped him because of the crime, and didn't want to be arrested.

I have shot plenty of rugby photos using my Pentax K5-II. The camera body is weather proof when used with one of Pentax's weather proof lens.
Or as others have said, make a plastic sleeve for the camera & lens to fit in.

Why do people keep trying to spin this as if he were a Prisoner of War.
He committed a crime in another Country and it had nothing to do with his military service. If a veteran kills his family or runs a red light, is it inexcusable to prosecute him?
I don't think so.

I agree with you. He got caught violating laws of another country. If I travel to Canada and forget to leave my carry weapon at home, same thing will happen. I would have to deal with it.

A few years ago I had to send my six year old Sigma 24-70 F2.8 Macro in for repair because the barrel had cracked. This lens also had a very slight front focus problem, but I forgot to mention that when I sent the lens in. When I got it back it looked brand new and the front focus problem had also been fixed. I forget the repair cost, but I remember it was very reasonable.

Affordable Care Act not so affordable. My wife's medical insurance was canceled and what she was able to obtain costs about 1/3 more with higher deductibles.

Last week while at the dentist I asked my dental hygienist if the Affordable Care Act effected their business? She replied no, but her personal medical insurance policy was canceled and increased cost with the new policy was too high. She said it did cause her and her boy friend to get married so they could afford a policy that still cost lots more than their original policies, with much higher deductibles.

Everyone I know has had the same experience, higher cost with higher deductibles. I am thankful that my medical insurance is paid for through my retirement, and medicare.

I am a Pentax K5-II user, having switch from a Canon 5D.
I love it and find no problems with the focusing, even in poor light. Of course this also depends on the lens that is used.
The weather resistance body & assorted lens are a plus. The other day I went to my granddaughter's rugby game and shot outside in the pouring rain, no problems. The only weather proof lens I have at the moment is a 18-135mm, so it was not the best lens for this purpose. Those pictures can be seen here:

Other pictures can be found scattered the site, and all the ones found in this folder were taken with the Pentax:

Like others said, a well padded tank pad or tail trunk. I have used the tail trunk with my Goldwing, but you do have to stop & get off to access the camera.
I wouldn't strap it to your body. If you ever have a unplanned get off, it is very lightly the camera will give you serious injury when you land on it.

As Mark7829 stated, try and keep the lens level. This reduces the amount of work later.
