I have used nothing but Epson printers for years. I now have a Epson XP-960 for printing large photos and other things. I also have an Epson ET-2500 for general printing (it also does nice 8X10 photos) and it is VERY stingy with the ink. Low, Low, cost. I use only OEM ink and cycle each printer once a week. Just my take.

I use the Epson XP-960 for my large prints as it does a great job. I also have a Epson ET-2500 printer that I use for 8X10s and it never runs out of ink....well almost. Very, very, economical.

Great set of pix. I was born in H.B. 83 years ago when the excitment was all the oil wells and the salt water plunge. Many, many things have changed in the years that have passed. Except the beautiful beachs.

And here is my input. I travel alot and have a d7100 as my main camera. I use the view finder more than the Live view. I bought a LV hood for the sunlight and burnout of the LV and magnification. I love the hood as it has saved me a few times. I have to pick what to use as the needs make to appairent. I don't have the shakes YET but doing good at 82yrs.

The first thing I noticed was the catch light being different in each eye. Under closer inspection I see that it is the lashes in her left eye that gets in the way. Yes, I know it can be fixed and I have done many of them...other wise great portrait.

Thanks Robert. I am up here in Washington (from Calif.) and am getting a little feeble to travel anymore. My experence with steam was not railroad but in the oil fields (Dad had 5 wells in Huntington beach. there were lots of steam (boiler) and pumps that I had to care for when I was a teenager...Yes, I did get burned.

Thanks for all the information (new to me).
I took a train ride (narrow gauge) in Silverton,Co. railroad. they also had a complete machine shop where they could completely repair/rebuild any of their steam locomotives. I loved going through the shop. Train ride was an experence too. Lots of smoke and whistles. Also lots of photographers along the tracks.

My son has been using 10 for a few months and finds it faster with less problems. I have both 7 and 8.1 on my machine I use 8.1 most of the time.

I have been there before and it is certainly worth going. It is a very large display of almost every kind of steam/mechanical motion
