Hi Paul, I'm pretty new here but I wanted to say I really like the second picture of the bridge. It's clear and very nicely composed. I did want to ask though how does everyone know the dpi and other things about the pictures? Bill

Thanks Douglass. No more auto focus for me. I really appreciate your advice and will use it very soon. Bill

They were awesome. I especially liked the 8 and 9 Dillon Pinnacles. The striations in the rock formations were very cool. Thanks for sharing. Bill

I love the sea otter. He's just hanging out hanging a great time. Nice shots Nick, Bill

Being new to digital photography I thought they were great shots. I think I need to get a tripod also. Nice job Myrna, Bill

I'm still learning the settings on this camera. I'm having problems when I press the shutter halfway, in auto mode it wants to take the item closest to the lens, i.e. a twig or other object in front of the subject. Thank you for the help Douglass. I really appreciate your insight, Bill

On a recent trip to Cape Cod, we saw this lady resting in her nest and I had to try to capture the moment. Bill

That's awesome although I would've liked to see the higher resolution capture. Still a great capture, nicely done. Bill

Wow those are some great captures. Beautifully done. We were on our way to Cape Cod recently and I found one of those at one of the stops along I495. I put some pictures up as I also would love to know what these guys are. Mine are not as good as yours so please go easy on me.
Bill

I was just informed that putting up pictures without permission is against the rules. I apologize for the mistake and took mine down. Bill

Thanks Old Grey Beard. I really loved your shots and hopefully you wouldn't mind if I ask you questions as I start doing more with my photographs. I think I learn a lot from you and so many others on the site.

Wow guys. Judging from what some of you have I can learn alot from you all. Bob Mc, I've been to so many of the places you've been I'm going to try to emulate some of those upstate works on Champlain, Fort Ti and Lake George. They are breathtaking. Rich I'll be picking your brain too if you don't mind as your work is also quite beautiful. I especially liked the lake Balboa ones.

Thanks everyone for making me feel so welcome. I'm still learning composition, subjects and the best use of lighting so please be gentle. Again thank you all for the warm welcome. This were taken in the Battenkill area which usually has better fall colors. I especially like the cat in the barn.
