It will have value to a collector, but not in the sense of a lot of money. I bought a Kodak like that in a junk shop for $10, for nostalgia sake and I like it. Don't throw it away, put it in a thrift shop for someone else to find. Like an easter egg.

As the owner of a dozen digital and film D/SLR and RF cameras, the Cannon Digital Elph P&S is the one I have on me at all times, and at 12mp it takes great pictures.

An interesting read about the changing economics of photography. As far as the technological benefits of the internet, us American moderns have dug our own hole. As far as the interviewee, he chooses to dwell on the negative. He could have reported the positive. He wants to change the world, but nobody asked him to and owning a camera and an American education doesn't make him qualified.
