Nice! I could use one for my guitar playing. Looks like Van Gogh's Starry Nights on the table.

My Sony A9 (ver. 1) and Sony 200-600 zoom lens have been working remarkably well for the past year. After months of mistakes, menu learning, and trial and error shooting, I am finally getting consistently sharp and well metered action. However, BFD! This has been true of virtually all major camera systems world wide - whether film or digital - for well over a century. Once you become skilled in using them, getting consistent results of high caliber are going to happen. Virtually all top cameras today will produce superb results, once you've learned their intricacies and mastered your technique. I also Shoot Canon and Nikon, but for BIF, I am loving this Sony rig. One wish I have is I might benefit from a higher res sensor - like 42M +-, since birds are small and the extra resolution brings out higher quality detail. However, my A9 in my current environment is working fine. A used ARIII, IV or AI are options, but not justifiable yet. The A9 at 24MP is still giving me very good quality results if I am within 200 feet away from BIF/horse/wildlife action. Since I live in the country in East Dallas, that's my typically shooting environment. I bought both the Sony A9 and the 200-600 used on EBAY for about 55% below MSRP (2022).That's another plus. RE: this A9III; $6K seems absurdly high, and the camera's features versus my A9, are virtually nill and/or unnecessary for me. But...it must be exciting for the Sony sales dept., along with certain pros / hobbyists that might gain an edge, have a lot of disposable cash, and/or have a company/entity willing to pay the bill for one. My A9 shutter speed is 20fps when in electronic mode. That's plenty fast for the hawks, herons, cardinals, blue jays, geese, and egrets that land on my property every year. And the focus tracking - most critical for BIF/Moving target - is outstanding, now that I finally figured out what the hell I am doing.

Beautiful BlueJay. We get them here in east Dallas, but on rare occasion. Much more skittish than our daily (but equally handsome) Cardinals.

My own experience of ebay support on international deals is that they are very slow but actually effective.

BTW ebay and paypal are conjoined so that should help if you used paypal but my experiences were both paid by Visa cards, altho I never had to ask Visa to intervene.

Maybe youre a magnet for misfortune ?
Might help to get your genome read ...

The OP is legitimately expressing frustration beyond his control. You, on the other hand, seem to delight in being an AH. Your remarks on this post and prior ones are typically narcissistic and pointless. STFU if you can't control being toxic.

I ve been to the stockyard rodeo in FW twice in the past 2 years. Went to Mesquite redeo also in that time frame. I took ample photos at each venue with several cameras in tow. No restrictions. Lighting is medium to bad. High iso essential to offset faster shutter speed when capturing fast action, but it's nothing that can't be dealt with if you know what you're doing with technique and PP.

MS management is beyond corrupt and 11 and 10 are both scams to control end users thru endless buggy forced updates. Sooo many people on this forum and elsewhere are always complaining about updates wreaking havoc on apps that worked just fine untill the next forced MS Win 10/11 update occured unannounced by MS.
Absurd. People who escape this wrath are in a zone of HW and SW that, for the time being, avoids the nefarious MS code that destroys other paying customers PCs, and renders them helpless (30 day max) in stopping this corporate madness of "forced updates", which never existed prior to Win 10. Choosing your own update preference dates back to more than 3 decades. Then MS forced it down users PCs "OS throats" with 10/11 fascist style programming.
Hogwash! Win 8 was a dog too, though you could still turn auto UD off. MS is a monopoly and in bed with the US DOJ and SEC, which are also highly corrupted. MS wants more control and more money, not end user satisfaction and choice, to keep their stock up. Screw that.
Long live Win 7. Auto update set to NEVER .
My PCs and numerous apps have been running smooth and fast for the past 8+ years on Win 7. Newer isn't better. Software companies are notorious liars.
