I ordered a new cordless mouse so I would have one less wire to deal with. Thinking it would be better because it had a higher model number and a higher price, I ordered the Logitech M705. I'm not thrilled with this. In standard form, the wheel spins freely, which means the cursor or page moves more than I want it to when I use the wheel. I discovered that pushing on the top button adds clicks to the wheel, but they are so faint that I wasn't sure they were there. I think I'm going to return this and get an M505, which I've used before.

If any of you use the M705, I be glad to hear your opinions.

I turned my mouse over to find I'm using a 705. Works for me...

More from the Galapagos. Sea Lions behave more like puppies than lions. Very playful and curious but seem to sleep a lot. A little clumsy on land but in water a Sea Lion will swim circles around you ... literally.

These are terrific pictures. I especially like the one where the sea lion has gone under water. Perfect photo; great clarity, etc.!

I know that this question has been asked before so please forgive me. I need a new laptop with plenty of memory and fast. I will be using it mostly when I travel and want to work in photoshop and Lightroom. I am a cpa may use it for accounting. I will also use it to download and alter or digitize new embroidery designs. Any suggestions. I mainly use Dell in my office just a new one.
Please help

Is there some reason you don't want to use DELL outside the office? Dell makes workstations on laptop frames. You don't need a PC/workstation to run PS and LR.

My desktop is wearing out and I am buying a new desktop. I use Lightroom Classic. I will use a Benq, 32 inch monitor. It has been recommended that I buy a gaming computer for picture quality and speed. I am especially interested in picture quality. What computer and/or computer components do you recommend? I am already committed to buying 32GS of RAM. Thanks

Dear hlpeterson,
I use a Dell precision workstation (5820) with an Intel Wxxxx processor. It works very well with Photoshop and Lightroom, although I don't use Lightroom nearly so much as I should (learning curve problem). I suggest you go to dell.com and look at their various workstations, which you can configure almost endlessly to get what you want.
Good luck!

I was recently diagnosed via biopsy with basal cell skin cancer between my nose and my camera eye (left). I had an MRI yesterday and will get the result (probably) on Tuesday when I see the dermatologist who will do Mohs surgery, tentatively scheduled for early next month. If the worst scenario occurs, how will I continue taking pictures? I tried to look through my right eye as an experiment and it just seemed too weird.

You'll be fine. I've had two Mohs surgeries and everything returned to normal within a few months of the surgery.

And here are photos of the only remaining structures on the site that have survived since the camp closed. As one would expect, due the harsh winter and summer conditions, the wooden buildings were all destroyed and removed years ago. Except for what you see below, virtually all of the buildings in the camp were constructed of wood.

Thank you for posting this short history of the USA's second-most shameful "moment." The photos are very good as well!

I am seriously considering replacing my aging iMac with a new M1. That means I will have to purchase a separate monitor. Because I am used to my 27”, I will want another in comparable size.

Does anyone have suggestions for a good quality monitor suitable for photo editing? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Dell UltraSharp 27 4K USB-C Hub Monitor - U2723QE. Its 1.07 billion colors puts it in a class that most monitors don't reach. Suggest you try to find a place that has one on display, if you need to verify!
