Dana...I can see it without a problem. I think it looks a lot like Abe but one can make out many different faces from it. My wife too will pick out things when we spot clouds while we are driving down the highway. Usually we will see dogs sitting or laying down and other animals. Sometimes I get a little too much into what she thinks she sees and will tend to drive off of the roadway or almost! Very nice shot and you are blessed to have taken the shot. It will be discussed for many MOONS to come.

Hey Bulldog... The Horse showing his teeth can mean many different things when displayed. Believe me as I had horses for almost 17 years and once or twice during my days of loading him up into the trailer for a Shrine Parade Fanta, my Saddle Bred, would act up and would not go into the trailer!

"YOU WANT ME TO DO WHAT?" he would seem to signal!

Lucky we would always have a stand-in for such matters.

Buddy, I bet Sam Walton didn't have some long degree and look how successful he was. Education doesn't guarantee wisdom.

True very true. I was able to become a Service Director at one of the largest Porsche Dealers in Illinois and made a few coins and also became a special investiagtor and evidence technician on the police department on the Northshore of Chicago. So the years of one going to school helps but getting out there and working and keeping your nose clean makes it all worthwhile.
Have not looked back but have since written 87 chapters of my days as a policeman. And some 25 chapters regarding my days at the dealers too.

I guess after really thinking about it, I have never really had what one would call a bad or worse car. I was lucky that I worked for so many dealers during my first 66 years of my life and I had many choices to get a few good ones ( used ).
However I do recall one...Somewhat... A NEW International Scout in 1966. Almost from the first day of driving it started to act up. It took me almost three weeks to find out that there was dirt in the fuel bowl. Now how did that happen and there was no reason to suspect that was the issue. A gas station jocky found the problem after first having it at the Dearler for a full day to no avail. After putting a plow on it and pushing snow for two winters I became fond of it until one of the Chicago Cub players fell in love with it and made me an offer that I could not refuse and I sold it.

In his defense, he never said the guy wasn't wearing a seat belt, he just said the door kept flying open on turns. The guy also said that the Yugo made him a believer when it came to seat belts.

And...and I didn't say that "HE' was stupid. What I said was excaltly what I wrote.

No offense meant as I also said to anyone.

Used Yugo...still have nightmares.

Here in Dallas we set a record with a yugo, really, someone stole one.!!!

I know a guy that had a Yugo, he said there was so much body flex that when rounding as sharp turn, the outside door would pop open. Said it wasn't so bad on left turns, but when on right turns and his door would fly open, said that made a believer out of him concerning seat belts.

No offence to anyone but to not wear a seat belt is stupid. If you have experienced as many as I have of pulling people out of windshileds and picking of the broken bodies from being tossed out of the car or run over, you will never even start a car unless your belt was attached.

I know a guy in the BMW motorcycle club in the UK, that a K75S (750cc) that he had for nearly 200,000 miles, that's some sore backside on a bike, eh......?!

100,000 isn't unusual for motorcycles, but that is a lot of saddle time. :D I did about 50,000, but that was on three different bikes.

Well I just have to jump in here someplace so here goes; I have worked most of my life with automobile dealers mostly with the Porsche, BMW,Sabb, Volvo, Volkswagon,lMercedes,Lotus, Audi and Chrysler-Dodge-Plymouth, Cadillac and Chevy.
And worked 27 years as a police officer. I have to say that most cars if they are taken care of, regular oil changes and just minor inspections they will last. The elements such as salted streets that most of us have to travel over will soon turn them to dust. My present vehicle a 2000 Dodge Van is perhaps one of the best and most reliable ones I have owned and I have had around 80 cars. The Dodge from living in WI., has started to rust bad. My friend who is an old time hot-rodder is replacing all of the rusted areas by "HAND MAKING" and fitting and welding the many peices that are necessary to hold it together. It is unbeleiveable how it is starting to look even better than when I bought it 10 years ago used. When I tried to trade it in on another used vehicel the guy laughed at me. Then it hit me..Replace the rusted panels and drive it till it drops. It has around 180,00 miles on it. I have no regrets at all. Thanks for the subject matter it brought back a lot of memories.

It would have been more BELIEVABLE if you would have eliminated that part of the POLE across the nose of the plane.

Otherwise it is GREAT FUN!

Babushka...Would you believe that is a landing gear?

I didn't think so! Lol

Thanks for blowing my cover. LOL

Actually that pole at the nose is a light pole and is not connected with the Jet. But....if you look real close you may spot the steel beam that is coming up from the ground right next to her hand and arm.

Sorry Buddy! for blowing your cover.
I meant to delete the part of the pole so that it would show the plane being in front of the pole. I hadn't noticed the landing gear. I still love it! It is FUN to fool your friends like that...isn't it? ♥
