So great to see you back, Kerry! Are you north or south at the moment? Post lots of photos, from whichever scenic corner of the country you're residing :)

Hey Linda, I have been lurking on and off when I can, just had to drop back from commenting and participating because life got in the way - counting the months though until I can leave my little non-profit in new, capable hands and jump back in. It is so cool that you are still here posting. Your growth as a photographer is amazing! Love your work! Among the many other things going on this year, we sold our much beloved Lake Sebago home this spring and moved back down to our old home area - the Seacoast of NH - we miss the pristine, quiet beauty, but it's about 4 degrees warmer here - yay!!!

Welcome back, and with a bang! Nice shot, Kerry! It's really good to see you here again!!! I've missed your beautiful images, and this one's an example of why! That kerchief really pops against the black dog. Outstanding!

Thanks so much Randy! I've really missed being here! I would love to jump back in with both feet, but this year has been one challenge after another -selling one house, building another, training a new Exec Dir for my non-profit, new family members, and talk about bad timing I took on a 365 Project on Flickr this year and am too stubborn to now when to quit :) Also, I hate to break it to Maine's staunchest fan - I may be crazy, but I'm no longer a Maine-iac... I am enjoying your foray into portraiture :) Really impressive, Randy!

Hello again friends! I've been a long time admirer and follower of you all - forgive me, I totally fell off the grid for reasons way beyond your attention span... but I thought I could offer you a smile this evening. Any of you remember Hap? He just thought he heard someone saying, "Trick for TREAT" Hope all is well with you all! Kerry

Thought I had better take a few shots of them today. They are just starting to come out. The trees are full of buds. But with the snow, cold and 40-60mph winds they are talking about. I don't know if they will make it.:(

Those are lovely pictures of Hope, Erv. I'll hang on to them and hope they make it!

Shot the belted kingfisher Friday with wind blowing so hard, I couldn't stand still. He/she did much better than I :)

The others were taken today. Eagle baby doesn't look any larger than last week; maybe they lost one and this is different? Dad brought more nesting material a couple of times while I was there.

Canon SX50, most in burst mode, edits in PSE 12, including much cropping!

None are very good quality, just wanted to keep you updated on the local raptors - and my favorite little fisher bird :) Thanks for looking.

Wonderful set. Love living vicariously through your photos, Linda! Makes me long for retirement...

Fishing with my grandson Blake on Myakka Lake near Sarasota, Florida, I was amazed at how the surface of the lake reflected the clouds like a mirror. From the stern of the canoe, I was able to capture this shot. Olympus E-520, f 3.5, 1/500 sec, 14 mm focal length, ISO 100, handheld shot.

Very special shot, with amazing reflection!!!

The swamp is flooded and the bridge is under water. The reflection was interesting enough to have me crawling around on the ground looking for an angle to shoot it from.

(A similar vertical shot was posted in the critique section.)

A show stopper! Beautiful and unique!

I didn't know they arrived this early - or maybe these are just the scouts :)

If anyone can explain the growths on beak, please let me know (males only, or just in spring, or ?)

Canon SX50. Some edits in PSE 12.

The flight shot was taken last summer.

Beautiful from first to last, Linda! Really nice exposure and cool composition on the first!
