I read some information on the housing online. It says it can hold two flashes, one mounted on the right side with an arm on the bottom and one in the shoe housing you are describing. A picture showing the side mounted flash using an arm mounted on the bottom, looks like it would fit that massive shoe housing on the top of the camera was removed from the arm. Without the unit in hand, it is hard to tell for sure.

In addition to photography, I enjoy MS Flight Simulator 2020 in VR which requires a pretty beefy system which I built 2 years ago with the best components at the time. A very nice side effect was how fast PS and Lightroom now run. Even Topaz edits an image in a few secs. Go for it!!! BTW, a $1500 gaming PC today will be equivalent or maybe faster than what I put together 2 years ago at twice the price.

On our recent trip to Ireland, I took more 3 star or higher keeper images than I have in a lifetime. I attribute this to the subject, not the photographer. This image of Hore Abbey, in Cashel Ireland, became the cover page of a calendar I made for my wife for Christmas after it was processed. I have included the SOOC NEF file along with a jpg.

Feel free to download this image to your computer. Then you can edit it any way that you think is an improvement. Composites, black-and-white conversions, textures, sky swaps, inverted images, solarization, or whatever else you think will improve the photo are acceptable techniques for your edit. When you are finished, post your edit in this thread. Edits will be accepted until 9 pm Eastern time on Thursday. No edits will be accepted after that time because we will begin voting then.
