I like the sunrays effect in #15
Wow, so it took 11 extra minutes to save 8 Mb of space!!! Not worth the time as you suggest.
Here is a square format with midtones enhanced and a little vibrance added
After a little work in Camera Raw and Photoshop
Here is the formula. I think we blew through that in 1st grade!!
When I first opened the downloaded photo, I had this sense of peace looking at a beautiful scene which was framed by the trees. Then all of a sudden as my eyes wandered, I was fixated on the sign on the right and fence post on the lower left. They create tension for me (which may have been your purpose!). Might try the clone stamp or healing brush tool in PS. Nice image, well composed!!
Great shots Jack!! I assume Norwalk??
Love it!! Where is the barn???? lol
Most of the reviews comparing the Tamron and Sigma were comparing the G2 version vs. the APO version of the Sigma. Since the recent release of the Sigma Sport version, most reviews have it as the leader, even over the Nikon by some. In reality, all three are probably excellent lenses. I just purchased the Sigma with the recent sale they had. It is very sharp corner to corner. The major grip is that it is heavy. It is but I was out for a couple of hours the other day shooting wildlife and I found its weight no problem.
Certainly makes me want to visit!!
You will be missed Linda!! Thank you for all your hard work serving as the moderator of the post-processing forum.
I have only been to Canyon De Chelly and I liked it more than the Grand Canyon. If you go there, do the guided tour which takes you through the base of it; but also drive the rim. Spectacular views!!
I have always been drawn to a Monet painting so it was no surprise that I was drawn to your photo. Just a fabulous image!! Well done!
