I like the first shot. The second one is too cluttered.

Van broke down yesterday on the way home.. Long story short it is in the shop getting repaired so I made a day of it shooting jumpers. Here's a few quick edits from today. Cropped and denoised only. Old and trusted D7200 with the Tokina 100mm set at f/14, plus 36mm extension tubes, and diffused flash.
Hope to have time for some good old stacking soon....

From My Experience the D7200 is a great camera, I use mine all the time. That said when I have used it for Milky Way photography with the Tokina 11mm to 16mm it suffered from Hot Pixels. When doing star shots at 16mm I shot between 20 to 22 second exposures. If you try to stack images or continue to shot frame after frame the sensor heats up and you start getting Hot Single White Pixels all over your image. You see these when you get home to the computer. They don't look like stars and become a real hassle to remove. I have also shot the milky way with the D600 also 24 mp and the D850 and have Never experienced hot pixels from the sensor heating up. Not to mention another 50 reasons why full frame beats out dx for night time photography. Just my experience.

P.S. not sure what dx lens you have but I used my Tokina 11 to 16mm on my full frame D600 all the time. Great lens, but you can only use at 16mm but still worked great for night photography and landscapes..Budget Friendly

I think they have kicked them off the bridge martinfisherphoto. I did not see many of them on the bridge around 6-7 pm, just bunch of tourists taking selfie and locals walking by. It is such a beautiful bridge for the merchant selling stuffs that just ruins the scene.

Great, I've been going to NYC every other year for the last 8yrs. I always stop here for images up top and then from below at night shooting back toward Manhattan. With the Pavilion and everything else that shot is getting harder each year as well. I can't get enough of the skyscrapers and of coarse the park. Looks like you made the best of your trip and brought home lots of images..

Did They Kick all the Vendors off the bridge?? I was just there in June and the vendors were taking over the place, killed any chance of a good image for that trip.

My favorite for field work is the 8x10 soft box I mentioned. For jumpers I took the largest laminated you can get and sandwiched a Viva paper towel between the laminate. I then rolled at the base making a cone and attached to the end of the macro lens. This is why you see a cylindrical light shape in their eyes
