Very good colorization.

A question for curiosity only, are the colors used representative of what you remember? Or just something that looks nice?

For example, the shirt color could have been yellow or pink or some other light color?

As someone who lives in Jersey, I find Brooklyn a pain to get to. 😀.

It's all relative, isn't it.

Manhattan has many good Skyline opportunities. Enjoy finding you favorite views!

A little south of Weehawken, is Steven's Institute of Technology in Hoboken.
Near the admin building is a nice lookout spot called Castle Point.
It's pretty much straight across from the Empire State Building, for a Midtown skyline.

That is indeed a beautiful spot for sunsets.
We rented a bungalow just before the big hotel at the end of the road. The sunsets were lovely!

For someone with insulin resistance, the blood sugar takes a lot longer to reduce, after eating lots of high glycemic index calories.

I measure blood sugar regularly and have seen this effect in my readings.

If the op's friend is concerned, then he probably knows he needs to monitor his diet.

A full bag of chips can have lingering effects on my blood sugar for 2 or 3 days.

I wish I could lose that much of my belly, in 10 months, but it's been growing much longer than a pregnancy, so I suspect it would take much longer, even if i could get it to start shrinking.

Thank you CHG_CANON.

Appreciate the additional information, it's always about the money, isn't it.

I did not realize what a gray market camera was until I went to get it repaired at Nikon. You would think that if it bared the Nikon name they would work on it. I mean how different can it be?

There is no physical difference between the items made by Nikon for different regions. There may be a software difference to support various language and localization options.

NikonUSA knows what serial numbers were assigned to their distribution network. There was at one time predictable patterns to determine which subdivision is responsible, but as markets have shifted in size, those patterns are less discernable.

If the serial number is not on the list, don't touch it.

Spare parts go only to Nikon-USA accredited repair facilities.

Nikon stopped having third party accredited repair facilities several years ago, one reference said early 2020.

Thus, for new equipment, the only official choice is Nikon.

I understand the U.S. version and warranty. I never understood why Nikon would not fix a problem if you were willing to pay repairs. It is their camera.

They set the rules. If they repair a grey market item, then there is probably a legal argument that they have accepted responsibility for the proper working of the item. They don't want to open up that liability.

Liability issues like this almost killed the private plane market, until legal rules limited the long-term liabilities of the manufacturer. Piper and Cessna, etc were held responsible for 50+ year old planes.

Nikon will not repair grey market items, and Nikon has also removed all authorized repair companies and services from third parties.

So they may not even be able to get parts, much less any specialty equipment used for repair and calibration.

Right to repair laws don't seem to have much effect for Nikon.

I think I've read that other manufacturers will repair a grey market device, for full price of labor and materials, but may not warranty their work in that case. Verify before committing to such a purchase.

My dad had one of those original SX-70.

Glad I survived having my pictures taken with it.
