Thanks Kathy for your comment. We've been to the dunes twice & each time they looked so different with the colors, etc. Well worth another visit.....have fun!

I did a Road Trip West....2.......Utah & getting ready to do a 3rd. (Colorado) Almost makes me want to turn around & go back already! Been home about a month now. Bob

We will be going as far as Nevada for sure. We have a son, dil and 2 grandsons there. If all goes well we will go on to Canada. I have a cousin there. We won't be leaving until May. We have a friend who doesn't mind staying here and taking care of everything. He is house sitting for another friend right now. I hope to get some good pictures.

I took this Squirrel photo while I was walking around Fernbank Park
about a mile from my house... he was about half grown and a little cutie...

Are you sure it was a "he"? When I looked at the download without thinking I just clicked on the middle of the squirrel and it looked like "she" may be nursing little ones.

I'm not very smart when it comes to spiders, but are those 4 round things eyes?

lol :-D so far we've just called him tucker:) he likes me to throw his little toy mouses over and over and over...now if only i could talk him into bringing them back to me. i appreciate your comment quickflash...thank you!

We had a cat that used to bring his toy mouses back. One time we had a real mouse and he ran after it and brought it back to hubby like he did with his play mouses. The only problem was that when he dropped it at hubby's feet like he did with his play mice it ran off and got away. His sister is the one kills mice and deposits them by the door. Once had someone tell me that they wouldn't be good mousers because they were Persians.

I just read an article in the newspaper about a biker who was hit by a car on one of our rural roads. He was going in the wrong direction in the lane. He didn't have a helmet on and was pronounced dead on the scene.

When I was working one Saturday I was on my way home to pick up my mother to bring her to the hospital. She was 95 years old and had fallen again. I really didn't have my mind on how fast I was going but I was staying behind another car and doing the same speed. Everybody was being pulled over and ticketed. When the police officer came to my window he apologized and said he didn't usually give tickets for going just 5 mph over the speed limit but some of the people who live along that road had complained. He asked where I was going and I told him about my mother. He told me that he had to give me a ticket because they were being watched, but that he was going to give it for not having my seat belt on which I did have on. Seems that wouldn't go on my record and would only cost me $25.00 at that time. When I passed back with Mama in the car they were still writing tickets.

My kitty Lazer has the most beautiful green eyes.

They sure are pretty green eyes, but the ears say that Lazer is a bit pissed off. Cats show there feelings easily.

Yes, she thinks she owns this place, but then all 3 of them think that.

Wow, such beautiful babies. Here are my 3 girls. TT and Baby are sisters one litter apart. They were both rescues from the same lady. TT was 8 months old when we got her and wasn't getting enough to eat. Baby was 7 weeks. Both had ear mites worse than the vet had ever seen and covered with fleas.

I just rattle the 'treats' and mine, magically, appears. :-D

Mine get their treats at 9 am and 5 pm. Hubby started that and now he isn't home at those times anymore except on weekends. One of ours has a built in clock and always comes to me, but lately our old girl is usually sleeping behind the sofa in the afternoon. She is slow coming out and the other 2 are well into theirs before she gets to her treat spot.
