Definitely a clarity difference from the lakes to the ocean - However the lake clarity sometimes adds to the pics overall appeal

Love photography, passion is underwater photography - currently enjoying both - prefer the latter in 80 degree water in the Caribbean, however the Great lakes will also do nicely.
Underwater camera is a Nikon D90 w/Ikelite hsg. and DS161 substrobes, Land Camera is a Nikon D600 - favorite lenses Nikon 14-24 MM and Tamaron 90 MM Macro.
