I got Painter Corel 6 from someone dirt cheap. But is no longer compatible with windows 10. I don't really use it a lot, but I wonder if any of you all know of a similar, cheaper app? You know what it does, you pull up a photo and pick a style and it reproduces it. a lot of the media it can paint are pretty bad, bu a couple come in handy.
I have a question that I've never really looked int. Regarding RAW editing, Iknow how a RAW file is made up of so many colors that it is not viewable and must be converted to jpeg(or some other rpg) and then saved. But what are you changing when you edit RAW? I have ON1 and Affinity and Corel PaintShop Pro and I also have Corel Aftershot Pro, and either it is not very good, or I don't know what I'm looking for(I don't know what changes I should be aware of) but i don't see ho it is much different from the raster editors. Can anyone explain what is the goal/target of RAW edits?
The attached Photo is one of my grand daughter walking in a flood ravaged area down by the Mississippi.
She is cut from a different pic and is trying to make it look like she is there, but, to me, it looks kinda fake. Pasted on (which is what she is. I tried feathering the edges of her, and using a refine tool but I am not satisfied. If anyone has experience with this technique would appreciate your advice.
I use Affinity and ON1 to edit.
No, I think that is mainly (I can't be certain where all the stacks come from) an ADM cogeneration plant A plant that burns both coal and leftover corn to generate electricity, but also uses the heat produced by the generators for heating various buildings. There were environmental concerns, but as you would expect ADM
opened the plant in 2010.
Cmbtvet ~ the gap; yes that is obvious. I replaced the sky following ON1's process. I have had the same problem with other skies. The videos that explain the process use pretty flat horizons but I don't think they would release the code if the process is flawed. i'll try doing it again. Thanx.
I've posted some photos that i would like y'all t' critique. I woyld appreciate it if you would tell me what you see that you don't like, composition, colors, or whatever. I recently got Affinity photo and ON1, and I am working on the techniques that are available in the app. So, bring it on, I've got moxie!

my birthday = 10/6/50
1950 + 69 = 2019
but last year
1950 + 68 =2018
my sons birthday = 8/6/1988
1988 + 33 = 2021
in 1997 his age was 9
1988 + 9 = 1997
The result is just the persons birth year plus their age. works for any body any year
Could well be a song sparrow. The shot you have does not show the shape of the tail, which should be rounded -this is a trait that all song sparrows have. Other characteristics are whitish breast with streaks or spots that can be from brown to dark gray, and a light gray ring around the eye. So, it is likely a song sparrow.

Yes, they are scavengers - preferring dead meat to killing it. In that regard, they are very efficient, they consume nearly everything of their food, internal organs, fur or feathers, leaving only the skeleton. At one time they were thought to be related to storks, but have recently been linked to hawks (vultures, that is. As I noted in my previous post the caracara is related to falcons.) I don't know if here is a common name for all, buzzards is not right, there are buzzards in Europe but not in the Americas, in America there are turkey vultures, black vultures and condors, but the are all grouped as old world vultures in the National Geographic field guide - whereas the caracara is included with falcons.
attachments are not my photos.
The King Vulture not found in America.
the common buzzars - England and more.
Spottd about 7 of these while driving along the Texas Gulf Coast.
most were feeding down in the ditch on a dead calf, but stopping an getting out of the car cared most of the away. These were roosting nearby. They are actually related to falcons.
Actually, I don't have a picture of the bridge, just the pieces that 2 California Condors were sunning themselves on. I had never dreamed of seeing these birds!
