Boy you hate mongrels really get off on patting yourselves on the back. None of you would or could have an original thought if you had one of your guns to your head. Instead of whining about what a shitty president you think we have why don't you get off your fat asses and do something constructive, like use your brain! You all really make me sick and if the country is going to rack and ruin you all are a big reason for it. You and those idiots in congress, and I mean on both sides of the aisle are too busy pointing fingers instead of looking for real solutions to problems. I'm not happy with our current prez but I wouldn't want the job for all the money in the world, especially when idiotic, hateful, people like you are constantly criticizing with no real solutions to back up your lame ass complaints. Whew, I feel so much better. Now go,ahead and jump all over this you retards, I don't really care!

I'm about as liberal as they come, but must disagree. I don't think Blurry needs to get a life, I think he has a good one, nor is he unhappy, he's a good guy. I disagree with him politically but think he's basically a well-informed, happy man. I imagine if you met him, you'd think he was a thoughtful, considerate person. There's a big difference between subjects you disagree on and the person him/her self. Not everything in life is politics. jmho

Well, I'm happy for you. Not sure why you feel the need to defend him, he seems perfectly capable of doing that himself, ad nauseam. I seriously doubt that if I met him I would find him to be a thoughtful and considerate person. He has not shown one ounce of thoughtfulness or consideration to anyone except those who agree with him 100%.

Blurryeyed, Go through my list again, and then, disprove any point I made that your earlier statements were in fact half-truths. Half-truths that you believe. Mine are actual facts taken from Newspapers, History Books, First Person discussions and anything after, 1950, I was 10then, I was in many way an eyewitness to. With respect to NASA I worked there in the 60s. My discussion did not in any way say that a conservative did not contribute. It only pointed out that you diatribe was full of half-truths that lead the gullible to believe them to be the "Truth" when in fact they are not. Prove me wrong!
Blurryeyed, Go through my list again, and then, di... (show quote)

Talking to Mr. Blurry is a waste of time for a reasonable person. Anyone who has spent as much time as he has on these conversations obviously needs to get a life. I have not found anything he says to be either truthful or enlightened. He is stuck in some sort of time warp where he thinks what he says is informed. I suspect he is a very unhappy person and we should all probably feel sorry for him rather than try to engage him in any kind of reasonable dialogue. I have to admit I have given in to my baser instincts and responded to his foolishness too many times. He is infuriating to say the least and completely ignorant about anything outside his own realm of self absorbtion.

I really like what you had to say. Us "nutcase" liberals are so unreasonable, don't you think? ;-)

Of course you find it offensive, you have no self awareness do you. All you conservative types constantly talk down to anyone who doesn't agree with you.

Well, there they go again! Those intolerant liberals not willing to accept others and trying to hijack the conservatives of the past.

What a joke. Lincoln is rolling over in his coffin thinking he was associated with the word Republican.

Just like the Civil rights bill Johnson turned to the republicans because without them he would have not been able to pass the bill, if you look at the voting tally's, the republicans give stronger support to Johnson's civil rights legislation than did the democrats.

Indeed, you are full of yourself as are most liberals so full of yourself that you think that you are deserving of history that is not your own.... but believe me, we want you to keep your ACA.... we want nothing to do with it.
Just like the Civil rights bill Johnson turned to ... (show quote)

Well blurry you're at it again. If Lincoln were alive today he would be ashamed to be a republican and just ask any history teacher, high school , college and anybody with a brain In their head which you have proved over and over again that you don't. You know you really are an arrogant jack a..! And I suspect your brain is as small as all the pictures of those insects you take. You are completely incapable of having an open minded conversation even if your life depended on it.

Just as a starter it seems to me that the Emancipation Proclamation was signed by none other than Abraham Lincoln, a Republican POTUS. Now how you can claim that as a Liberal accomplishment is beyond me.

Do you believe for one second that if Lincoln were alive today he would be a Republican, not on your life.

In your past, when your: parents, friends, lovers, or children disagreed with you, did you ask them "Why do you hate me?"

It is interesting to me and other Liberals that people like you have no capacity for compromise. It's your way or the highway. It's all black or white, no grey scale (see how I slipped a photography reference in there? lol).

People that can not compromise shut down our government, go on holy crusades for their religion, have found 'the one true god' or believe in the 'one true holy book.'

I believe your line of absurd thinking can only lead to a tyranny of theocracy. I want no part of that world. I expect you'll claim it is already here, just because you don't agree with whatever conspiracy you have happening in your closed mind

You go ahead and continue to share your ideas, there are actually people here that will agree with you. I hope that gives you comfort. Whether the voting electorate shares your views will be revealed on each election.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and suggestions.

Thanks Artz, you put it very nicely, for someone who "hates America, and is not very intelligent." ;-)

Donna,

Leave the alcohol (and coffee) drinking to me. I'm a veteran, was raised Roman Catholic (now I'm non practicing) and still consider myself a Christian. It's getting increasingly more difficult to remain quiet and objective on these threads when I hear all of the hate and discontent expounded here on ones fellow men/women.

Who gives a rosey rats ass if someone disagrees with ones ideology. Like the old saying goes, " Everyone has an opinion just like everyone has an asshole and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks". B.F.D. All of you angry people need to chill-out.

Life is way too short to absorb and dish out all of this petty Bull Shit!!! When I joined the Ugly Hedge Hog Forum, I thought, Wow, this is a really great group of knowledgeable individuals sharing ideas and critiquing each other's work. Now, I have to wonder what happened to all of us?

Sure, a lot of you have different opinions than me but so what!!
I had enough "Combat" when I was in the Corps to last me a lifetime. I've been diagnosed with PTSD, Hell every Vet who was ever in a combat zone suffers from it. Why shouldn't we, WAR IS HELL!!! I've been fighting ugly nightmares for over 40 years and I'm finally winning the battle of burying them permanently.

I get on here and Damn if it isn't a combat zone again. Shit people, let's respect one another as human beings and be civil!!!

That's all I have to say, I haven't had my Bailey's and Joe in several days so watch out, I may go Postal!! Just Kidding.
Donna, br br Leave the alcohol (and coffee) drink... (show quote)

Good for you!!!
