No, the location of the shoot was not on Grandview Drive. It was one of the historic homes in Randolph street in the center bluff above Methodist Hospital that had been converted to an Airbnb.

Jerry, I had never encountered a roundabout until I was living in Rhode Island in the 1980’s while working in Eastern Connecticut on the Millstone III nuclear plant. I was fortunate enough to be in a carpool with three local residents who taught me how to properly maneuver what they referred to as ‘rotaries’. When they started appearing in the Midwest, I think I was the only person who understood how they worked and tried my best to ‘teach’ my friend how to properly navigate them.

While they are quite common in New England (Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Maine), they have only started being built in the rest of our country. We have one in Peoria, and most people are confused by them.

No I did not because I sold the only DX lens I owned with the D80. I also did not have any trouble wit all of my other lenses because they were previously used on the Nikon film SLR’s I owned.

Several years ago I replaced my D80 with a D610. I know they don’t make this camera anymore but it has served me well and works flawlessly with all of the lenses I have accumulated over the years (even my old manual focus Nikkors).

I’m with you. I have been a Nikon fan and user since I was a child when my father traded his beloved Leica M3 for a Nikon F2 Photomic. My first Nikon was an EM, and had several film Nikons before my wife gave me a D80 for my 60th birthday. I currently shoot with D610 and have a collection of MF and autofocus Nikkor lenses.

Has anyone out there been bothered by tiny ants in their homes this Spring? We have been inundated with them and nothing we do will get rid of them for more than a few hours. These are very small and are no larger than a spec of dust and are annoying as hell.

Only four, my wristwatch, the oven, the microwave, and the DVR. I got rid of my alarm clock when I retired, and my computer and IPhone reset themselves automatically. I don’t bother with the one in the car because I leave it on standard time just to mess with people’s minds who ride with me.

I just purchased this item at Barnes and Noble for $15.00. It operates on USB power, has its own tripod but is also tapped for a 1/4” 20 tripod screw and the center opening a is larger than my largest Nikkor lens.
