I have it and like it very much, though it seems a tad sharper on my Mirrorless Z7 than on my previous D850 and D500. It might have to do with having to make lens adjustments sometimes on a regular DSLR, where there seemed no need for it on the Z7. It came with an adjustment tool from Tamron, and I updated the firmware on it once, but the process of focus adjustments seemed too cumbersome for me. Also one can make some in camera adjustments on the bodies. I appears to be well weather sealed. Not sure the Nikon is sealed.

If you are about to invest into a new Canon system, have you considered mirrorless? The EOS R has the same full frame sensor like the 5D mark 4, very similar controls, and a wonderful line of lenses. The entire zoom line up at 2.8. Just food for thought.

Darn. I just bought a D500. Wish I had waited. Great price.

Too bad. I had them both and it is so much more camera. But the D500 is still great.

All schools will be closed within days. I have no doubt. The more we all work together to limit exposure, the better.

I am a practicing internal medicine physician in Massachusetts and thought I should share some of my thoughts.
Most important - Please forget your politics and try to all work together as a community. This current situation is extremely serious and will continue to change all our lives in many ways for weeks and months to come. We have to brace for impact here, and we should not be counting on getting a lucky break. There is no scientific evidence that a first generation mutation of such a virus will follow seasonal patterns. It is my desperate hope, but I would not count on it. The situation in Northern Italy is terrifying. The main reason we have barely seen any cases in our communities yet is because we have not been testing on a larger scale. It is as simple as that. Until the last couple of days or so. I have encountered multiple situations talking to patients on the phone who have come back from all kinds of places with obvious risk of exposure needing medical advice. Our local hospital and other health care facilities in the area are doing their best to get ready for this. The logistics of testing are incredibly complex. Safety concerns for other patients, the medical personal and also dealing with limited and shrinking supplies. As of last night there have only been less than 11,000 tests performed in the entire country. It currently takes 3-5 days for the results to come back. Right now situations and assessments change in 24 hours.
What can we do? Avoid crowds. No meetings. No business trips. No Disney or spring break. I honestly hope the public schools are going to close for a few weeks and follow the lead of the colleges. Kids supposedly don’t get very sick, but obviously will spread the disease like everyone else. Don’t touch anything. Wash your hands. Carry around sanitizer. Change your routines. Be aware. If you need medical help and think Corona is a concern, give your medical provider or hospital a call first. Don’t just show up. Exposing your medical practice or hospital could lead to the facility having to self quarantine for 2 weeks. The same goes obviously with your work place, school or even a restaurant or any business.
I know what that means. We obviously are worried about who is going to watch the kids, needing a paycheck, disastrous consequences for businesses. Obviously the pig picture - the economy, the stock market etc.
The cases in China started to decrease a few weeks ago. It is felt that this was accomplished by extreme measures that could never be replicated in a western country. Italy is trying right now. Other nations will follow.
But we have to start trying. We cannot say we need to maintain normalcy to protect the economy or something along these lines. That does not mean we have to panic. Self report. Self quarantine if needed or if exposed. Help the ones who have to be at home for a few weeks. Look out for the elderly, people with medical issues, people who are in need.

And again - FORGET ABOUT POLITICS! — in Newburyport, Massachusetts.

Selling this camera I had purchased about 2 years ago when I had a GAS attack. I ended up pretty much never using it, since I always rather brought a larger camera along.
There is plenty written online about this one. Mostly positive. One can definitely get great results out of the sensor, which is quite large for a camera that size.

In excellent condition - works and pretty much looks like new. I have 2 batteries for it plus a charger. I do not have the box, original charger, manuals, cables or papers.
Selling it for 220 shipped to US. I would prefer PayPal.

I am selling this great camera since I got the XPRO3, which serves my style better. Purchased this one about 12 months ago in like new condition at Adorama. I am mostly a Nikon shooter and used this camera only on a few trips to the city for Street Photography and some video. Excellent condition, very clean, I don't see any significant blemishes , LCD looks great. Come with original box, 1 battery, charger, flash, strap, books and one USB cable. $680 shipped to the US. I would prefer Paypal.

Agree - great camera. I have a D850 and also a Fujifilm, which has a similar set up with the dials etc. So I hope I can find a good home for it. I think the price is fair. I would not just give it away for less and rather keep it then. Thanks for the reply.

I am cleaning house and let go of this camera. People either love the camera or hate it. Beautiful files. Full frame D4 16 MP sensor. Low light king. I always wanted one and finally purchased this refurbished at B&H in September 2019 for little less than $1800. I then realized that, though I enjoyed it and adore it, I just don’t use it often enough next to my other gear. It had a shutter count initially of about 13,000. I added a few more to the current count of 14,357.
It looks pretty much brand new. LCD very clean, not brand new clean but almost. There is a spongy kind of sensation and clicking sound when holding the grip -almost like the plastic wrapping is a little loose just below the aperture wheel. Did not bother me, but I thought I’d mention it. Nothing visible, though. Besides that the camera looks new and works like new.
Comes with an extra battery, charger and strap. I will pack it up well.
Thought I post it here before throwing it on EBAY, which I dread.
I would prefer PAYPAL for payment.

I have them both. If you can afford it, go for the D850 if you love to do landscape photography. And you can still pretty much do anything the D500 does in the "crop version" of the sensor. It dos not work the other way around.
