I work with several video professionals in the Seattle area, and they all swear by Davinci Resolve. It has both a paid version and a free one. The free one works just fine.

I actually played basketball against him at NAS Pensacola. I was going through flight training and he was a supply officer. He was a good basketball player too.

It's a female Dobson Fly. They lay their eggs on tree leaves on rivers and their larvae become hellgrammites. Probably the best live bait one could ever use for fishing.

That's what happens when squirrels mate with white-tail deer! :)

My father-in-law was a plankowner and a chief gunner. He got to come up for a private tour while it was still in Bremerton. He actually missed the surrender because he was assigned to escort some Japanese photographers who were taking some pictures at the Yokohama Navy Base. He still got a card saying he was there. :)

Kenmore Camera offers scanning (among many other services). You could give them a try and decide whether or not to do them yourself.

It's my understanding that Costco moved everything BUT regular printing to Shutterfly. That includes calendars, canvas prints, etc. I just got some 4x6's back from Costco; 11 cents each and free shipping. Shutterfly would charge me 16 cents plus shipping. I will agree the announcement is confusing.

Our family had horses for over 40 years. The most we had was 38, but usually it was just over 30. I learned as a child that the key to being safe around them was to stay away from either end!

Came across this shot of my horses while editing folders. These horses used to crack me up...they would play all the time. I love the eyes and face Rudy is making as Major is at his backside!

Please tell me what you would caption this one?

Me...my first thought was "Honest, it wasn't me!"

Quit horsing around!

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I think they will still be doing prints. At 11 cents each for a 4x6 it's hard to beat.

This ten part class is outstanding. It is part of the Creative Live offering by John Greengo. It will cost you $14 and will be the best $14 you have ever spent.

I understand. Welcome to the Land Of The Stupids.
Here is an excellent example. I was invited by my sister to her birthday party. She asked if I would bring my camera to photograph. I jumped at the opportunity. It was a particularly dark restaurant. We all were enjoying ourselves when a waitress came over to me. She said the people at the other tables were getting upset because my flash was disturbing them. I glanced at my camera, noticing I didn’t place a flash on the hot shoe and I said I’ll be more careful. A short while later a waiter came over to me and claimed that other patrons were disturbed by my flash. Now annoyed, I told him to stop bothering me. A manager came over to me and told me my flash was disturbing the patrons and he himself. I then explained that I do not have a flash, and explained where it should be placed, I explained that I know how to use a camera and told him to stop annoying me. He should be asking those with cell phones to ask people to stop photographing.
I rarely use a flash and am likely to dial up my ISO. I should have shown the staff at the restaurant what a flash looks like and attached it to a portion of their body.
Another example is I was paying my subway train fare. A woman behind me tapped me on the shoulder and motioned I should move aside. I told her to wait her turn and she can ride the amusement ride too!
People in general are not content with observing or listening to others. I am starting to believe that the recent virus affected everyone’s brains too.
I understand. Welcome to the Land Of The Stupids. ... (show quote)

In low light, if your camera has a "focus assist" feature, it looks like a flash is going off. This may be what they were seeing. You have to turn this feature off so they won't be bothered.
