Keep it simple. Pack and travel lightly. Weight kills creativity.

The high end Marumi’s are every bit as good as the B+W line. I use both.

Very believable. I use the 24-85 as my convenience lens on a d850. Considerably crisper than the more popular 24-120 f4.

You think so? Have you compared them? I’m not doubting you. I just picked up the 24-85, and the few images I made with it look good. I haven’t compared them to my 24-120 snaps yet. 🤔

I have only used it once, but the results look quite good.

I pack a large rubber band (the kind grocery stores put around bunches of vegetables). It always works to loosen my stuck filters.

I use the perfectly sized rubber bands found on asparagus bunches.

The actual brand name is B+W. Whoever called it B&W was in error.

That is correct.

SVP, From China where else. I agree 100% All my filters are Marumi. I do need a cpl 52mm and 67mm. I have purchased from Uniquephoto, their prices are great, plus free shipping and get this, they don't charge tax.

I also just came into possession of a Hoya NXT Plus polarizer. I have not used it, but upon a visual inspection, it looks like it may be of high quality too.

The Marumu DHG "Supers" have a harder, water, debris repellent outer coating that makes them much easier to clean. However, the DHG non-Super versions are also excellent quality filters. I have a mix of the Marumi's, and the newer B+W "Master" series filters. Luckily, the sizes that you are seeking are not too expensive. I believe I may have an extra 52mm Marumi DHG Super. If so, it's yours.

Yeah SVP, I think your absolutely correct. They must be counterfeit. I was hoping he or she bought out a photo store and was selling at incredible discounted prices. Wrong. I messaged the seller two days ago asking if he or she would guarantee authenticity if I brought it to my local camera store and had them appraise the filter. Needless to say, as of now, I have not heard from them.
So the old adage "If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is". Proves correct again.

Where is it coming from? The counterfeit's are made with un-coated or single coated glass, and have the inferior aluminum housings. When I get a chance, I will dig up the correspondence between myself and the B+W rep's. You do not want this filter. However, if you come across a Marumi DHG or DHG Super filter, they are of very high quality, and cheaper than B+W filters.
