As others have said, it depends on what you shoot and how you shoot. I have taken two Alaska cruises and each time I took about 2,000 photo. A lot of that were burst photos of wildlife. Depending on the size of files your camera creates, you will need to determine if you have sufficient storage.

This boat might be ready for the scrap heap. Not sure how long it has been sitting here, but I hope they got all the fuel out.

Do you use a screen protector on your camera??
If so what one do you use?? And why was that your choice??
Is one really needed, or is it just something else to spend money on??? :-) I try to be as careful with the back of my camera as I am with the front "and the sides for that matter" as to not cause any damage, and yes I do have protection on my lenses.....Tom

This is the one I use. It came as a kit with my camera and I am very happy with it.

Thanks for all the very nice comments that I have received from everyone.

Sometimes all the elements work together to make an interesting photo.

Very nice image Alki, well done. It looks like a pretty stiff wind was blowing, correct? Great lighting too.

Thanks, and yes, there was a strong offshore wind

I took this on Sunday morning just after the sun came up. You can see the sun just touching the tips of some of the rocks on the jetty. The power of those waves is amazing.
