[quote=ginsnews]So did you sell this yet?[/quote

As a matter of fact, I sold it elsewhere. Forgot about this posting, as I never received an inquiry from it.

Sorry about that.

I did. Some time back. Sorry about that. In fact, you were the only inquiry.

You're disadvantaging yourself.

IIRC, the GX8 is 20MP. Your ad
claims only 16MP.

Indeed, you are correct. It is a 20MP sensor.

In like new condition with original box and manuals. Also included is the OEM battery, charger and strap and Panasonic Lumix G 20mm / F1.7 ASPH Lens. This is a perfect travel combo.

Low shutter count as this camera was used mostly for video. This is a perfect camera for travel, especially when paired with the pancake lens. HD and 4K video support. Flip out touch screen and flip up viewfinder. The viewfinder makes shooting outdoors so much easier. If you shoot video with a GH5, this is a great second camera. The same lens mount supports all Micro 4/3 lenses.

16MP Live MOS Sensor
Micro Four Thirds System
2.76m-Dot 0.7x Electronic Viewfinder
3.0" 1.04m-Dot Tilting Touchscreen LCD
UHD 4K Video Recording at 30/24 fps
Built-In Wi-Fi Connectivity
ISO 25600 and 10 fps Shooting with AF-S
5-Axis Image Stabilization, Dual I.S.

Pity there was no sound. Photos of ppl with a microphone in their face is frustrating.
Like wearing sun glasses or a hat shading their face. Only half a pic.

Ummm... I believe you're thinking of video. ;-)

Great pics btw.

My thinking is you can never go too big. I keep a 128gb on my keychain. It's come in handy so many times. Especially so, since I use a Surface for travel, and it's storage is pretty limited.

Nicely done. A painterly look to a subtle degree.

I recently purchased a used 6500. It is fantastic. I especially wanted the 6500, as I also shoot video. Amazing image quality. Couple of niggles. Battery life is the worst, and the multifunction selector wheel on the back is terrible. Owned a bunch of cameras over the years, and this one's well worth the trade off.

We were well on the way to conversion in the late 1970s with a program initiated by Gerald Ford. It was essentially dismantled by Ronald Reagan in the early 80's. A shame, as it is a hindrance to trade, among many other things.

There is a shop here in Austin that sells recertified Dells. I've bought a good bit of stuff over the years from them. Nice and knowledgeable folks. You can even get someone on the phone. They also sell online.

This might be an option:

I spent a bit more a couple of years ago, and got a Manfrotto BeFree. Fantastic little tripod. When traveling, every ounce and every inch makes a difference.

The absolute most important thing you can do to maximize sound quality is to get the microphone between six inches and three feet of your subject. A $30 mic at one foot sounds 100 percent better than a $300 mic at ten feet. (1/D^2)

Well said, and the most common rookie mistake. An expensive shotgun will not magically overcome a large distance to the subject. The main thing these mics do is minimize off axis sound. One other thing to consider. You will need a wind shield or "dead cat" for your mic. Otherwise wind noise will be a problem.

Yep. If you want viewers to be able to easily view and download images, Dropbox is the best.

Are you talking Windows or Mac? Not sure about Mac, but unless you are buy an identical machine, you cannot simply copy most applications from the old to the new. Some simple programs allow this, but most will need to be installed again.
